With the caps in place, the tube can hold a 24-inch poster. With a little room to spare, your 24" poster will fit perfectly.
I'm not sure, but shipping ups is expensive; it's less expensive to ship tubes in a flat box.
The tube measures more than 24 inches in length. The 24-inch document will fit, with room to spare for the caps.
Yes. I bought two sizes of each. The larger tubes (4"x24") came in their own box, while the smaller tubes (2"x16") were shrink wrapped and stuffed into an Amazon shipping box.

They're her favorite- They're well-made and durable. So, because I don't use these for packaging, I can't say how well they hold up (though I'm guessing they do, given how thick and sturdy they are). This is what I use for my hamster. She made a home in a large cardboard roll for candy that we cut a hole in and cut the end off of one side when we brought her home, and she started peeing in one end, so I went looking for another. I had no idea they were available in such large quantities. However, it turns out to be a positive experience- When one roll becomes too stinky, she discards it and replaces it with a new one. I cut them in half because they were too long for her cage, and I cut a hole on the side to provide another exit while keeping one of the caps on. She adores her tiny home and refuses to sleep anywhere else, so it's a fantastic investment. They take up a lot of storage space, but they're an excellent investment. I'm having a hard time cutting the hole and cutting it in half. But it's sturdiness speaks for itself. It's thick and sturdy, and it'd be a good place to store valuables.
The end caps are difficult to insert (at least for me), but that means they won't slip out or pop out like other shipping/storage tubes I've purchased in the past; I had to tap around the rims with a hammer. I have a lot of lovely papers, wrappings, art, vintage wallpapers, and other items that I need to protect from being crushed and wrinkled. I put a cap on each of the tubes so they can be filled. I'm debating whether or not to cover it just to keep it out of the way in the craft room. Because of the caps, I estimate they're about 25" outside and 24" inside. Exactly what was said - There's a total of 24" available for use! I taped a sample of what's inside each tube to the outside so I know what's inside. They're now both pretty and functional.
The tubes are sturdy without being overly heavy, and the end caps fit snugly. I needed this to ship 16 X 20 drawings, and this was exactly what I needed.
Very fast delivery and a fantastic product!.
I would strongly suggest it. I've sent out three posters so far with no damage.
Excellent craftsmanship. They're what I use to send our customers wall calendars. Sending UPS ground works fine and isn't too expensive.
These are the boxes that I use to send artwork around the world.
Packages arrive at their destination in a timely and secure manner. without being bothered!.
