I was at the post office today, shipping comic books out, and I inquired about using media mail to ship comics, and I was told that I could.
Each mailer is four pounds in weight. 8 ounces. Thanks!
The mailer is sturdy enough to transport one package. It's three comics on its own. It also has multiple perforations on the inner flaps to allow for the tightest possible packing of smaller quantities of comics. Thanks!
Yes, I am the owner of the Impinge Comic Book Company, and we ship these out on a regular basis! br>I always ship first class mail because it comes with a USPS tracking number and the cost ranges from $7 to $10. 80 - $13. 50 (depending on how far it is traveling to its destination within the United States: USE THIS AS AN EXAMPLE: I paid $13 to mail one comic mailer from Rhode Island to California, with the address written on the front and six books wrapped in bubble wrap. 42). br>I hope that this information is useful.

This is a fantastic way to ship comic books and small books! Gemini comic mailers are ideal for sending comic books and other small items. These mailers can hold up to ten individually bagged and boarded comics when I sell them on eBay. Until you get to a certain point, that is. Approximately four comic books- It can be as little as a pound, and you can send them first class for a few dollars. After that, I usually send them media mail if it's a regular purchase, or priority mail if it's a big-ticket item. items on sale br>In any case, the Gemini provides excellent protection, and I've had no complaints, as have other reviewers. Rather, I've gotten a lot of customer feedback specifically about these mailers. I wish they weren't quite so expensive, but it's worth it to me to save time packing and, more importantly, to have a high level of confidence that the materials will arrive undamaged; in fact, I wouldn't ship some items if it weren't for these mailers.
It's a great product once you stop bashing your head and figure out how to actually fold it (takes longer for us slower kids than you'd think). You can easily/safely fit 10 regular sized comics in here, the only problem is there's a little extra room on the sides, but I usually slide a couple books into a silver bag with two silver boards and they fit perfectly. For more expensive books I wrap around once side to side and up and down and it fits perfectly. So far, there have been no complaints. br>br>I can fit four (2x2) DVDs in one of these; I mostly use them when someone buys multiple OGX games from me. br>I have no complaints once more. br>br>I also recommend taping it shut once it's closed, because otherwise it won't stay shut. Overall, a good purchase! br>br>.
Bubble mailers aren't secure enough, boxes are too large, and flat-rate shipping isn't feasible. Rate envelopes are too expensive, to say nothing of the fact that they aren't secure enough. br>br>Finding what I need is always a challenge for me. No longer. br>br> br>br>When I came across these Modern Age Supplies comic book mailers, I knew I had to have them. They're similar to Amazon book mailers, but they're designed specifically for comic books. It is stated that you can fit up to 12 books in there, which I believe is correct. I've only sent out about 5 of these, but they're the most well-protected comics I've ever sent out! br>br>The boxes arrive flat, and all you have to do is fold them up. I suppose there were a couple already folded in my box so I could use them as a model. Although the pre-requisite is not required, it is recommended that It's simple to figure out how to fold boxes, but it's a nice touch. br>br>As soon as my current supply runs out, I'll be ordering more!.
I was a little annoyed, but I went online to look for the maker and sent an email requesting instructions. They're not the most intuitive to fold, but they're very simple. The creator created a video, which is available on the internet. They're well worth the money once you learn how to fold them. I'm writing this review because you might have purchased these and are having trouble folding them. Gemini will send you a video link if you contact them by email.
I sell a lot of comics and manga on eBay, and I want to make sure that my customers get their comics in good condition. Each one usually has a capacity of 1 to 2 liters. Three trade paperbacks, two manga, or about an inch and a half of individual comics It's very sturdy and does a great job of protecting the contents, and it's only about $1. As a comic book buyer, I appreciate anyone who is willing to help protect my purchases, and these are a great deal.
It takes a little practice to get the hang of folding, but once you do, it's simple and the results are excellent. They will only fit in a flat rate LEGAL envelope at the post office, so expect to wait in line for one, and when you do, ask for 20 of them because the post office is frequently out of stock. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> I had to return a few items, and the seller was extremely accommodating and helpful.
The only drawback is that there are no instructions on how to fold the boxes; however, there are a couple of excellent YouTube videos that outline the best way to fold and secure your comics inside these boxes. Will come back as needed. br>br>.
The folders are far superior to the packing I used to make out of repurposed card board boxes. It is undeniably faster, more consistent, and less difficult to ship. There are no complaints in this house!.
