Yes, command hooks capable of holding over 5 lbs could be used. Because it's solid wood, I don't believe push pins would be sufficient.

Finally, I can confirm that they are, indeed, on the key rack! br>This is a nice key holder/accessory holder that is light in weight. It was simple to hang on the wall, and there are plenty of hooks to hold all of the keys in my house. The color of the wood is a deep brown. Hanging this mail organizer on the wall is simple. All of the necessary accessories were included so that it could be easily hung. It's made of high-quality materials and is well-built. It conveniently organizes my mail and provides a hook for my keys. I like that there's also a shelf where you can put a photo.

The only drawback was that the drywall screws were not included, which was a disappointment. The nails that came with it were too short to attach to the shelf's back hooks. I needed to get bigger nails. drywall screws must be purchased separately.
