Yes. You can remove a white strip from them. I've had a lot of success with these bags.

Is this a polypropylene cellophane bag or a flexible bag?

These are not the cellophane ones, but they are flexible. Unfortunately, the writing covers the majority of the bag, effectively hiding the contents.

The bags aren't made of cellophane. They're soft, pliable bags that provide protection without being too heavy. I would recommend these bags and would purchase them again.
