Yes, these envelopes now include a holder as well as a marker!
Only the envelopes are in my possession. Date, where/location, pymt, deposit, and balance are all written in these lined spaces. The months are listed on the Filp side, as well as the category (which you fill in).
They are capable of holding bills without the need to fold them. I've carried at least twenty $1 bills in one before with no problems and plenty of room to spare.
They are approximately 3 inches tall by 6 5/8ths of an inch long. It all depends on how much money you have. I hope you've found this information to be useful.

Overall, I like the envelopes, but keep in mind that if you want to track your transactions using the chart printed on the backs of the envelopes, you'll need to use ink because pencil marks don't show up on the material. I actually printed out index size cards with a similar layout and keep them in the envelopes with my money so that I can write in pencil and make changes to my records if necessary. The first image shows the cards (white) that I manually printed alongside one of the envelopes (green) that came with the Cash Envelope System purchase. The purchase does not include the white cards. You can just use the chart provided on the back of the envelopes if you don't mind writing in ink; the extra cards I made aren't required; I just prefer them. I've attached a photo of the template I used to make them so you can make your own.
These are best written with a fine point Sharpie. Combine these with a coupon organizer to make a complete system. perfect!.
I've had these for a few months and they've proven to be extremely durable and long-lasting. They've been stuffed into my purse numerous times and still look brand new. They're fantastic for anyone following Dave Ramsey's plan!.
As a result, I ordered blank check registers and began tracking expenditures on the pages, as well as reusing the FPU envelopes, which I had to tape up due to wear and tear from frequent use. I had to give these Tyvek envelopes a try when I saw them. They're fantastic! I like how they're different colors to make it easier to distinguish between budget categories. The flaps are a bonus because they eliminate the need for a paper clip to prevent money from being taken from the wrong envelope. I still track with the check register pages, so I don't need to replace the envelopes as often. I like how these came in a plastic envelope, too. The bleed-through marker that comes with the kit is true.
br>br>Adjusting to the system is a breeze with the envelopes. Their ledgering system appeals to me as well. They're sturdy and high-quality, so they'll last a long time; I've been using them for four months and plan to keep using them as long as I use this money management system. Since I started using the system, I've noticed a significant improvement in my money management. Highly recommended. br>br>.
Take money out once a month, and once it's gone, it's gone until the following week. I was waiting to see how long these would last. It's been four months and you still look great. Paper that is particularly tough. This is fantastic. I didn't use all of them. I have one for groceries weeks 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as fuel, vacation, and business travel.
I was concerned that the envelopes would rip, tear, or wear out over time, but so far they have held up admirably (no rips or tears). I've always wanted to do a cash system but never got around to it until a friend of mine bought one and showed it to me, so I figured why not? Years ago, I wish I'd had more. It causes me to be much more aware of my spending habits. I've always used my debit card and never considered spending money in stores, but now that I'm in the grocery store with my envelope and it only has a certain amount of money in it, I consider picking up some extra items. The same is true for our family's eating out envelope; it forces me to think about it rather than just picking something up. In fact, we are now saving more money! I would strongly suggest it! I went online to buy a new system for my 15-year-old daughter, but the ones I bought (the design) are no longer available, though they do come in other colors. I wish they sold extra envelopes (I filled all of mine because I also use some for our rental property).
These are fantastic. Excellent quality. I'm really looking forward to putting these to good use. The price is very reasonable.
