Water is used to seal them, just like a regular envelope.
I haven't tried it yet, but it seems to be the case.
They are coated with a film that makes tearing them more difficult. They aren't tear-proof, in my opinion.
It will only fit in a women's checkbook purse wallet.

Budgeting has never been so simple! He assisted us in the implementation of our budgeting system. We switched to a cash system, with categories for pets, groceries, debt, entertainment, vehicles, and so on. It took a few months to get it down, but once we had a budget that was reasonably accurate, we began to see savings. I didn't want to waste any time emptying those envelopes! I kept these in a large envelope and used them throughout the month because they are sturdy. They have a long lifespan.
Everything you'll need is covered by a budget. I've already put aside more money than I have in the previous few months. Each one should be labeled with terms such as "emergency," "vacation," "goals," "fun money," "new television," and so on. I stuffed my $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills into the envelopes. I then bundle them up in a rubberband, which allows me to save a significant amount of money without even realizing it. These come highly recommended by me.
I just opened my envelopes and discovered that I was missing a few, well, more than a few, like 12 of them.
Pros: color selection and size; cons: the amount of space on the line to write is TINY! For a college ruled notebook, two of their lines are the same width as one line! Is this something I'd consider purchasing again? No. I'd rather have enough room to write legibly where I spent money and how much I spent it than a rainbow of colors.
On the Dave Ramsey Plan, to be precise. I'd like to think these are exactly what DR would use! Ok. Perhaps not, but it is exactly as described. It's also ideal for use with dollar envelopes.
It's ideal for keeping money in my purse. Envelopes are fairly durable and are the perfect size for bills. I've only had them for two months, but they've held up well to being tossed around in my purse and stuffed into my cash envelope every two weeks.
They're not so thick or bulky that they take up too much room in your purse. My purchase went well.
They're both long-lasting and simple to work with. I like how different the colors are.
