Questions & Answers

I'm worried that if I order them, they won't work because all of the negative reviews mention the pens leaking, even though there are like 30x better reviews?

In the last few years, we've purchased about 20 of these, and about half of them have started leaking ink from the barrel. We live at 5,000 feet above sea level, and we think that's why. When we take them up and down from our altitude, they appear to leak more quickly. I'm looking for a similar-quality pen that can withstand the slight pressure change. Although we like these pens, they don't appear to be well-made enough to withstand the pressure.

Is it possible to fill in some areas of my pigma micron black illustration with paint? They appeared to have smeared a little already. ?

When painted over with acrylic paint, these pens do not appear to bleed. Not like some permanent ink or sharpies. It also depends on the type of surface you're painting on. If the ink is sitting on a slick surface, it will bleed through to the paint. The ink should not bleed if the surface was porous and absorbed the ink, and the ink is dry.

Is it possible to write on plastic with these pens? I'd like to use a miniature dice to mark pips. ?

Search for Steadtler Permanent Lumocolor on the internet. These are designed to write on acetate sheets (clear plastic sheets used in overhead projectors). br>I use them to write in my oil and watercolor paint tubes, as well as to mark the bottoms of my watercolor pans. br>In the same way that any other non-profit organization, Because of the porous surface, if the skin rubs aggressively over the editing, it will lighten over time, but these will not come out if left alone. They are available in a variety of tips as well as Blue/Blk/Green/Red colors.

Is there a variety of sizes available?

They do, in fact, range from to. Up to 20mm (my personal favorite). 50mm. Pens that are the best there is

My daughter requested these for her birthday, and she seems to like them because I find her doodles all over the place
5/5

My adolescent daughter asked for these for her birthday, and she seems to like them because I find her doodles all over the house. If you're looking for a fun way to make faces out of bananas and eggs, these are perfect.

I really like these artist reviews
4/5

These are some fantastic pens. They don't smear (which is great for a lefty like me!) and they don't stain. They're made to last a lifetime. They last a long time before the ink runs out. I could go on and on about Microns because I've been using them in my pen and ink artwork for years. The only reason I can't give them five stars is because the pens' tips are extremely fragile, and I've had a few break completely over the years. Some of the hairs on some of them have split. This can produce some interesting results. The pen has been known to leak as a result of this. These pens remain better than 99% of the pens on the market. Just be careful not to squish the tips too hard.

and this particular pack is a fantastic value for money, with a wide range of sizes
5/5

When I was a kid, my first birthday gift card to Michaels was for a pack of Micron Pens, which I still remember fondly. Since then, I've been unable to function without a micron pen. They're extremely versatile, and this particular pack offers a great deal with a good selection of sizes. br>br>Micron Pens are great for sketching and preliminary drawings, as well as finished drawings. I've been using them for the majority of my daily sketches. For the past 300 days, I've been using 300 Drawing Prompts to complete 300 drawings. After 143 days, I've come to the conclusion that micron is the best portable sketchbook on the market. br>br>I've attached a few of these images so you can see the variety of widths included in the package. So far, I've used each one.

Personally, I am a huge fan of these pens
3/5

Personally, I am a huge fan of these pens. They write smoothly, have opaque ink, and are available in a variety of sizes. What I don't like is that each package appears to contain only one item. 3 pens that haven't worked in a long time! I only used these pens for a week the first time I bought them, and they were already out of ink! It was absurd (the pens that were running out the quickest were the. 03, as well as 02). I repurchased Micron in the hopes of giving it another chance. This time it's all about the pens. 005, . 01, and . Within weeks of purchase, all of the 05's had lost their ink, and the. In fact, the 005 pen blew up. br>br>I'm writing this review after being frustrated and disappointed by Micron pens twice now, and being unable to return either of these defective pen sets. Sakura's quality control needs to be examined more closely. Unless and until changes are made, I will not be a returning customer.

These are something I enjoy doing with
5/5

I really enjoy using them! I strongly advise anyone doing inks over pencils, making comics, or needing to be told how to do really fine detailed line work to get these. I've used these exclusively for my comic series' pages- I'm on page 105 right now.

Pens that are among my all-time favorites
5/5

I go through a lot of pens as an illustration student. So I've tried almost every major brand of ink pen to see which is the best, and these are hands down the best! They are truly waterproof, dry quickly, are pigment-rich, never bleed through the page, won't lift if erased over, and dry with a flat matte texture (as opposed to sharpies, which have an oily texture). spill the beans). The only thing I don't like about them is that they clog up when used over colored pencils, but that could just be because I use wax-based markers. Prismacolors are a set of prismacolors that are based on each other. I've never had an issue with ink leaking in all the years I've used these pens. If you want a high-quality, multi-purpose pen set, these are DEFINITELY worth the money, especially at Amazon's price!! (The photo in the attachment was created using. 08, . 03 and . 01).

Beginners will enjoy this (old art photos included)
5/5

I've been using these with watercolors for a few years and they've never let me down! I hired them to do lineart for cutesy anime/manga drawings (I'll show you some examples later) at first. I'm sure a lot of people go through this phase hahabr>br>The ink is quite dark and permanent (my old artwork doesn't appear to have faded). The drying time is very short; I can usually erase my under sketch in 30 seconds without smudging it (but wait a little longer just in case, I forget). As a beginner, I loved these because the different pen nib sizes allowed me to draw a variety of things. The smallest pen was great for fine details, but you have to be careful with the smaller tips (and really all of them) not to press too hard or you'll damage them. br>br>These days, I almost always use nib/brush pens for line work because I prefer more dynamic lines, but I always keep some microns on hand for detail work and because they're so portable. Some people claim that they dry out quickly, but in my opinion, they last a long time. The labeling wears off over time, which can be inconvenient if you're looking for a specific nib size, but it's not a major issue. br>br>However, even though I don't use them nearly as much as I used to, I highly recommend them! It's something I keep on hand at all times:.

Despite the bleed through, it's good enough
3/5

The thin "high quality" onion skin paper was purchased solely for Bible notes. It was highly recommended on a number of blogs, as well as on YouTube and Amazon. But let me be clear: there is no truth in the claim that there is no bleed. I'm guessing on less expensive bible paper, but not the thin ones - which is common in bible paper So I'm attaching a photo in the hopes of assisting you in determining what you find acceptable. I'd buy it again simply because I need to take notes, and this is the best I've found. The second from the left, by the way, was the most useful in terms of a tip - 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 25mm tip. The second-best option is to be the first to arrive - 005 or . 2mm.
