Dip it into the slot on the tip's widest part. If that doesn't work, some people burn the tip of a lighter to remove the resin residue. Some people even use sandpaper with a finer grit.
I think it is a fake feather but I am not 100%.

For my book signing, this pen was the perfect finishing touch! It looked real, felt great in my hands, and allowed me to write beautifully with just a little practice! That night, I received a lot of positive feedback on the pen. br>The ink did seep over the silver and stain my fingers, but I was expecting that because I've used a lot of calligraphy pens before. I'm 100% happy. br>I would recommend this pen to anyone who enjoys a little drama and/or flair in their longhand writing!.
Well, it was well within my budget, and I was extremely pleased with it. He was ecstatic! It's lovely and simple to operate. I was blown away by the quality and functionality of the product. He's been having a lot of fun writing letters to his friends; it's truly stunning, and he thinks it looks like something from Harry Potter, so bonus!.
A different set of pen nibs (zebra or nikko) should be purchased for actual use, as this set is absolutely stunning. It was a pain to have to dip the nibs that came with the set after each letter. It's now beautiful and functional thanks to the addition of new nibs.
Until you start writing with it, it's still a work in progress. The ink is extremely low in concentration. The quill also leaks all over your hands for some reason. I'm really upset because I just received another one as a last-minute Christmas gift and now I have to return it. There are better sets out there, so don't buy this. Also, despite using acetone and every type of soap I could find, the ink on my hands will not come off. I'm enraged to the point of indignation! Look at the photos.
handed. This ensemble is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, I was having trouble getting the nibs to work and mistook them for broken. I did some internet research and discovered that left-handed people require special nibs. br>As a lefty, I'm annoyed that I didn't realize this (probably due to my lack of research). br>The main nib is fine, and I use it to write letters and journals. Even if it was just for the one nib, it was worth it. On my desk, it looks fantastic!.
This was my kindergartener's request, and she adores the color and opulence of the entire set-up. We only use the finest pen nibs, but they work well enough for us that we don't mind the rest. No one in our house does calligraphy. My child simply desired a "nice" pen and was willing to pay for it with his own money. The ink is dark and nice. br>br>.
This pen is aesthetically pleasing, but that's about it. I was ecstatic to receive this, as well as a lovely journal, to begin my journaling. The pen has a poor writing quality. When dipped, it barely holds the ink, allowing you to write one or two letters before dipping again. 1 letter, 1 letter, 1 letter, 2 letters, 2 letters, 2 letters, 2 It's supposed to allow you to write at least 20 pages. Because the ink appears to be rather thin, I'm not sure if it's the pen or the ink. When there is some on the nib, it just globs on the paper and gets all over your hands, as you can see in the picture. This purchase has left me extremely dissatisfied.
