If you are planning to use this for whiteboards, I wouldn't recommend it. Having used the device for a day, I have arrived at this conclusion. The first thing I expected was that all the tapes would look the same. Depending on the darkness, I expected them to all have a similar sheen to them. Tapes in the color category seem to be paper-based, whereas tapes in the black category utilize a plastic film as a As far as I can tell, each roll has the specified length of adhesive tape, and all of the tapes appear to be about 1/8 inch wide. Approximately 2 1/4 inches diameter is the diameter of the rolls. The page sometimes did not appear for a small part of the Upon unrolling the tape, I believe that the black ink was actually part of the adhesive on the tape and was sticking directly to the tape as it was unrolled. However, this is just a guess on my part. It was only with the help of tape that I was able to complete the calendar grid. Specifically, I had to cut off portions of tape and place it over areas of ink missing. I got this to work, but it's not ideal or what I was expecting. think you have it all fixed, then find another area, and another one. colors will not last long on the color tape. The black ink of the whiteboard marker soaked into the colors of the tape instead of the tape itself. As far as I can tell, there is no residue left behind. In comparison to black tape, I can't say the same thing. While we were reviewing, I found that I couldn't peel up sections of it because it was black. There was a sticky mess that was tough to clean up. The tape will probably work for you if you don't intend to remove it at all. As for the color tape, I might make a multi-coloured grid for a calendar or perhaps I'll just go ahead and use a whiteboard marker as soon as it arrives to turn it black effectively to avoid discoloration later on down the road.
I am very happy with the black tape. I found that the colorful tape behaved more like painters' tape, and the ink stuck to it (it won't wash off). As soon as you use the colorful tape a few times, it looks black and doesn't adhere well to surfaces.
plan to remove them within the next few weeks, so that they can come off easily and without leaving.
The white line worked great for a staff whiteboard because I needed a thin line. I found it easy to use and I could reposition it if necessary. A slight texture can be felt on them.
But for whiteboards, I am sure it would be.
It wasn't too much of a problem that the colored rolls were made of paper. I didn't have a problem with the black.
As I began to set up the dry erase boards, I was impressed with how easy it was to use the tape. I also liked that it was easy to move things around when I changed my mind about how to arrange things.
There's nothing like black to make you A color is like a sheet of paper you can see through. I won't be able to use it.
