What is the degree of opaqueness here? What will it look like when it's lit up?

There is no opaqueness in it. In knitting patterns, it is used to highlight different areas and move it along as I knit Patterns are stitched on the rows to mark them. I like it a lot!

There is no strength in this tape

Using the tape was problematic because it was thin and flimsy. Whenever you tried to apply a long piece of tape, the tape would break or twist.

Easy to use, great for highlighting on slick maps that a highlighter pen could not handle. The removable part can also be easily removed.
