A globe with MOVA Globes first caught my eye in an office of a person I knew and that was it for MOVA Globes for me. Lighting in their office worked well with their globe. As soon as I set up my new globe, I found that it did not work with the light I had, which was very low energy (eco-friendly). I bought a cheap (but well-looking) clamp-on led lamp from Walmart, and the MOVA Globe worked perfectly. It really depends on where the light source is coming from. Accentuation of the globe is provided by the light.
I started thinking about buying more globes after using my USB plug for the first time.
I use 1 amp and it works just fine. As relaxing and calming as watching fish in a fish tank, it is also an excellent stress buster.
As I was browsing their Amazon store I ended up choosing this one, they have sooooo many globes to choose from that it was hard to decide but they are on the expensive side and I can only afford one so I selected the black and silver globe, my favorite colors. Complementing each other beautifully, they make each other stronger. It was nice to get these and I will order some more in the future. There are two planets that look amazing Jupiter and Uranus.
This globe has just been delivered to me. Having never seen one in person before, I find it pretty cool to watch it spin and it's just really entertaining. There are a couple of things I should mention I wasn't aware of before buying this product 1) Mova allows hemispheres to be misaligned by 3mm (1/8 inch) under the terms of the official usage policies. This product doesn't meet the level of quality I expected for the price.
2) The transparency of the globe is apparent if a light source behind it is on. would not be an issue in its final location since I don't expect a light source to be behind it. It is my hope that this will help Despite the misalignment, I still like the globe, so I hope I don't get too bent out of shape over it.
The acrylic pieces for the stand are all but one missing from the package when I received the globe! What are the chances of being able to display this globe without the right stand? Additionally, there is an inspection sticker on the package that states Amazon has "inspected this package". I say that's a piece of bull! Two crucial components of the product were missing! Anyone with half a brain would have noticed that! I didn't buy here. It is a waste of money and time. Try other retailers.

Right away, my girlfriend was so impressed with it that she is buying one for her home as well. That is a real cool design and product. I'm glad I went with the black version, but honestly it would be cool to have one in any color as well.
Amazingly easy setup, and just an incredibly cool product. I wish there were a standard size globe, but it's not available, so I'll have to settle for a standard size globe. There will probably be a price increase over that, but I hope this will continue.
