It was new to me to use this style of brayer, since I have always used Speedball brayers with the metal loop handle. Because it's lighter and easier to handle compared to the metal ones, as well as being able to change the rollers, I like it. It is true that the handle is a bit shorter or stubbier than that of the metal ones, however my smaller hands make it work I like how it rolls. As well as this one, I also purchased a hard roller to switch out with it in the future. would like to see the brayer handle in a different color than red, but that is just a matter of Additionally, I was able to find it for a very.
This item was recommended to me by my instructor when I took an online Gelli plate printing course. Thankfully, the hard and soft rubber replacements work just as well as the original - and you can buy both separately.
The Geli plate is a great addition to this product.
The brayer I've been using has been perfectly adequate for my needs even though I'm new to the printing game. My experience with it is that it spreads Speedball ink evenly on fabric when I used it with stamps and speedball inks. I will say that the black Speedball ink does stain the brayer, but it is easy to clean. It's fine, since the ink on the black Speedball stayed on the fabric even after it was washed several times. Therefore, if the stain wants to make my brayer a little grayer, it's fine. The stain does not transfer into my next project.
Buy.
What are the benefits of foam rollers? You can still use the rubber one, but you can also use the foam one. This is an easy-going style. The Pop-Up brayers are my preferred brayers, although I have a couple of regular Speedball brayers.
The roller piece pops out easily so it can be cleaned. If you substitute another hardness roller instead, it will work just as well. What is the comfort grip handle like? It wasn't really noteworthy for me, there wasn't anything special. All in all, I am happy with my purchase and highly recommend it.
My diamond paintings were finally rolled with a roller when I finally found one. When I bought this roller it was for diamond painting, not for printing. I had tried other rollers, but even if they said soft rubber it was too hard. Check it out on Amazon if you aren't familiar with it, and try it out before purchasing. The drills aren't always the same height, which is where the rubber comes into play. The bottoms of the high ones and the tops of the low ones are felt with this product making it a must-have for.
I've only used it a couple of times but it seems to be a quality brand. As of now, I am enjoying it.
