Bristles of it are syntheitic in appearance. This is a very stiff material. As I do not like and have used only once and twice, it has not been that great for me.
His website says "Made of a stiff synthetic bristle, these brushes are ideal for blending edges, applying paint with heavy concentrations, and creating lovely glazes of wet colour.".

Rather than struggling with blending and making shapes (that are usually difficult for me), this brush makes them easier to achieve. It appears that I am not a good candidate for soft brushes. All this stuff sure looks like it's going to be taken down by Santa.
The handle is unusual, and it may not be for everyone, but it works This brush is good for glazing with watercolor. I do not use it often but it works well for If you paint with a brush that does not soak through, a mop is probably okay for the first wash.
The only problem is the bristles keep falling into my watercolor painting. I purchased this brush today but haven't been able to use it yet. As for the brush, I like it.
The brush is great! The bristles of this brush are not only good for blending, but they also hold plenty of liquid so wetting the paper down quickly does not take as much time as it might otherwise. I also like drawing with pigment since it allows me to move it around the page. It is highly recommended that you use it.
I don't find its blending abilities all that impressive, but it may be just me.
The bristles on this brush are really nice for someone who is new to watercolor. Aside from being very easy to use, it has the benefit of holding a lot As well as the ergonomic handle, I like it.
Nice watercolor brush with a stiffer feel than most. Edges can be blended well with these.
