This is what I figured Not the product, but my own failure to carefully read the directions lead to this result. As soon as I had ironed on the Thermoweb to the ribbon, I peeled the backing off before letting it completely cool. I inadvertently allowed it to cool a few times and those ribbons stayed bonded unlike the ones that I peeled while warm. It is also dangerous to "test" the bond before the garment is cool because you may accidentally damage it. the iron is too hot or if you see adhesive "seeding" into the fabric, you are either holding the iron for too long or you are using too much heat. You are supposed to use a medium temperature. It is also suggested that you wash your garment before using There was no problem with the ribbon because I did not wash it When I allowed the first bond to cool before peeling off the backing, my bond was fine. I can attest to the fact that this product works Following directions is acceptable as long as they are followed. In a few weeks, I might wash the garment, but that is unlikely considering that I am planning to spot clean it. I suspect it may not hold up in the washing machine.
The plan sounds good to me. I found the glue to be very
There's no doubt in my mind that you Don't heat things up much and just cool them off The patch should be bonded to the stick, and the packaging should provide directions for how to bond it. This stitching tool is what I use to apply patches on my son's backpack and appliqués on cotton materials
There is no guarantee that this product will work on denim knees. Our recommendation is to iron on patches that are applied to the inside or outside

This helped me shorten a black out curtain that I had purchased from another source. The tape didn't work right away when it was warm, but it worked fine when it cooled down The material was hard and plastic-like. Since it was so hard - I like the strong hold for making my curtains look beautiful, but because it was so thin - they will unravel. There will not be a curve in their fall like that of curtains. Therefore, the bottom stayed straight and looked strange. I ended up folding over the creases and reironing them to give the curtains the crease/curve they have when they are hung from a curtain.
This app helped me find the right tailor. It seems I have a cute pair of pants that I've been wanting to wear so badly but they need to be tailored otherwise I'd be sweeping the floor with my steps! Anyhow, I found these on Amazon for a bit cheaper than other brands, but nonetheless, I decided to buy them, and I have been so pleased with them! My phone rang less than 5 minutes after it was fixed and I put the glasses on! br>Wow! This is a great.
As much as I hate to say it, this product is extremely poor. It's more of a tack than an iron-on adhesive. The texture is that of a Zip Lock Bag Let's say you iron two pieces of fabric with a baggie between them. The sticky quality of the product makes it appear fantastic while it's hot, but after a few seconds, it's brittle and breaking apart easily. Dollar store products have been better than those I bought at the mall. You won't be able to hold this on forever.
I ordered Amazon Essentials scrub pants and they had super long inseams. I wanted to trim them Then I folded it in and tried the iron. I did not find it to hold up very well. It probably would have been easier to do without the excess stacked in there if I used pinking shears to trim the excess off. My shears will arrive on Wednesday, so I can try again, but I might just stitch it on my sewing machine with the thread on It is a great value for the price, and I can do it again several times on my pants.
There is nothing more to it than a thin glue tape that melts at heat, and then the paper can be In the case of jeans, it did not work. The lighter material won't hold much, but I can't imagine it will hold much on the heavy material. Please note. There is no hold on my jeans no matter how much sticky glue I apply. I'm sorry.
It appears that this fabric to fabric adhesive iron on product does not hold fabric to fabric with ultra strength. I followed the instructions strictly several times, but never succeeded in connecting cotton to cotton more than a feeble hold. This is not a product I would recommend. Don't use electricity or other automated means to do the job. Instead, use needle and thread and do it the old-fashioned way like I did. We don't need to waste our time and effort on this product.
There is no way to use this product! I've used this kind of adhesive before and have usually found it to be quite This adhesive didn't bond the material AT ALL for the project I'm doing, I don't require it to be super strong. Any decent adhesive would work for the project I'm doing. The product does not work at all, which makes me think it must be a joke. In order to ensure I didn't buy the incorrect item, I double-checked the product and its instructions. To make sure it wasn't me, I tested it on a variety of different materials. There is no use for this stuff, it is not useful for any project using any fabric and is not functional for its intended purpose at all. We're going to throw it all out!.
This bond looked like it would hold up to the test of time given its advertised "ultra hold. ". In any case, this bond comes with a white paper that must be ironed and peeled after it has cooled. Hemming applications can be cumbersome and inconvenient with this device.
