There are elastic pockets and a zipper as the picture shows, so it is just as big as it appears. My bag is much larger than the one in picture, and can hold a set of 72 watercolor pencils in the front zipper pocket, a set of 50 colored pencils in the back pocket, and many sketching pencils, watercolor brushes, and pencil supplies throughout. A pencil holder I don't have to use a hard tin tub or a roll with individual slots I never use has been on my shopping list for years I highly recommend this case if you want a practical storage case without taking up too much space (at its most full, this case is as big as three paperback novels stacked on top of one another) and/or want a more convenient container to carry around with you on travels. The only regret I have is that I did not get one with the splash I guess I can live with that.

The vast majority of what I have seen is not disappointing. There is only one complaint - it is 1/4" too short for me to carry a Moleskine or other A5-sized notebook In addition to pen and pencil you should also have a journal that fits the size of the hand. Therefore, I was able to fit a full 30-pound bag in the trunk of my car Here are a set of Stabilo markers, 8 metallic markers, brushes, a pencil, a ruler, an eraser, a roll of Washi tape, a 6" ruler, and a full set of Prismacolor markers. Handles help to make it easier to carry, and the outside is rugged and difficult to damage. Due to the fact that my journal fits in my purse, I don't mind that it does not fit in this case. As a storage device, it is ideal for me.

In order to be able to take my watercolor brush pens and general sketch tools with me anywhere, I've been trying to find a container that can hold them rather than carrying around a tiny pen case to hold my pencils and ink pens and their original packaging. I found this to be very useful. Ink pens or watercolor brush pens don't fit into most pencil cases because of the size of the slots, but this one fits perfectly. There is still room inside for a small sketch pad.

This summer, I am using mine for an art class, and the case is large enough to accommodate a small bottle of sumi ink in it, along with pencils, erasures, and other tools (if you don't mind not having the back side of the panel). A second item is on my shopping list for my not arts From the pictures, you can see that's the way I set up my box, and even though the bottle sticks out a bit in the corner, my zipper has not malfunctioned. (This bottle contains 2 oz of this special ingredient.

In the pocket on the bottom of the sleeve, tips are protected and kept from slipping or falling.

It was easier to buy the materials individually rather than as a set due to the wide variety of colors listed in the materials list. Purchasing a set guaranteed a cute little container, but not buying one resulted in a waste of money. used the Colorit Large Pencil Case to solve this problem and it was a success. In my case, I was able to load 36 pencils onto the elastic band board. On top of the bag, a zippered pocket holds the remaining three. In addition to my list of colors, erasers, and a sharpener, there is plenty of room for my art tools. Knowing the pencil points will be well protected gives me the freedom to travel with them. However, I wish there were an option to make an extra board to be able to hold any additional color I wish to add. There is plenty of space in the box for it to be included.
