Selected User Reviews For Officemate Telephone Stand, Clear (21524)
After reading the reviews, I was relieved to discover that my phone stand was not cracked. I couldn't believe my eyes. This phone stand was not packaged at all, which was a major oversight. To keep it safe, it will be packed in a box without any foam or filler paper. What you get is a game of chance. Is it going to be cracked or will it remain uncracked? My shipment arrived in good shape. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. 👎
- My phone stand was scratched when it arrived at my house. It's a bummer, but I can live with it because the phone will still be there. (See photos)br>- a barcode sticker left a black stain that was disgusting (see photos) br>br>Pros: 👍
- It's made of sturdy plastic and comes with small rubber bumbers to place on the feet.
- I like how it's transparent and clear. br>- The side compartments are also appealing to me. br>- There's also a small ledge to keep the phone from falling off the table. br>br>Well, if you're willing to take a chance, I'd buy it. It's possible that it's been scratched or cracked. Please give me a thumbs up if you found my review helpful. Thank you, Starlet. br>br>.
A piece had broken off when it arrived. I could understand if it had broken in transit, but the item was not even in the box. As a result, it was clearly damaged when it arrived. It's a shame that no one noticed or cared about it when it was being boxed up. I'm using it because the phone effectively hides the broken corner, but I believe the company should be more concerned with their product and customers. Having said that, I like the stand because it has space on the side for a small notepad, scissors, letter opener, pen, and pencils. The tape dispenser paperclips are a good fit underneath. My stapler would fit, but I use it frequently and it sits beside the stand, which keeps the stand in place and the phone on the stand.
This item was previously owned and in good condition. By any stretch of the imagination, it isn't brand new. It's all scuffed up where a phone used to be. It's a little dusty from where someone scribbled with pens.
This phone stand has helped me save a lot of space on my work desk. When I'm on the phone and have the phone cord stretched out, the rubber "feet" help keep the stand from sliding around on the desk.
corner on the right However, I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt and assume that this will be replaced without incident, so I'm not going to mention any flaws in my review. USE | I bought this for work (I'm a registered nurse in a healthcare clinic). After doing some research on Amazon, I decided on this one because of the built-in storage on the left side of the item, as well as the overall design and material. br>br>APPEARANCE | Clear acrylic takes up less visible space, which I thought would be the best cosmetic approach given the amount of junk at the clinic. STORAGE | On the lateral storage space, there are five separate compartments. The longer/higher space is ideal for keeping our laminated physician contact list on hand. The larger ones keep phone numbers close at hand, while the smaller ones hold a variety of writing implements. They're perfect for pens and pencils, but they're probably too short for big scissors. A writing utensil is housed in the narrow groove on the top. br>br>DESIGN | The phone is held in place by a small lip on the front of the stand. Because of the folds on each side, the unit is stable and sits securely on a table; it also has four small circle-shaped indentations, presumably to allow for easier mobility and prevent it from scraping against the table. QUALITY/DURABILITY | The phone stand appears to be of good quality. It should be able to withstand a couple of mishaps. However, I'd like the acrylic to be a little thicker because I want it to be able to withstand heavy use for a long time; However, it is acceptable for the price.
MATERIAL | I do not consider this to be 100% transparent I do not consider this to be 100% transparent I do not consider this to be 100% transparent The acrylic has a slight blue hue to it. ish hue. This indicates that the material is of poor quality. Again, I believe it is adequate for the price. br>br>I realize I'm being picky, but here's my idea of a perfect telephone stand (for which I would gladly pay more): Acrylic of higher quality and thickness, storage on both sides to accommodate a variety of office accessories, and a shelf on the bottom to store items like a calculator.
It improved the efficiency of organizing. I strongly advise you to do so.
