My phone stand's hardware was also packaged in a small plastic bag that was flat-packed. As if it were a piece of Ikea furniture, it was jam-packed. Check all of the pieces to see if anyone has attempted to assemble it, inspect all of the edges and corners for damage, and double-check that all of the pieces listed on the instruction sheet are present. If everything appears to be in order, begin putting it together. Take photos of anything that appears to be broken or missing and send them to the vendor for a replacement or refund.

Because of the office lottery (I got an office, but not my giant desk), I lost over half of my usable desk space when my company relocated facilities. I needed something that would cater to my particular requirements. Despite the fact that it was quite expensive for me at the time ($38), I decided to give it a shot. br>br>I've had this phone stand for a few weeks and I'm quite pleased with it. It's roomy, and considering I didn't want it to hold papers, it's perfect for me (though it does hold eight). On the bottom, 5"x11" papers work fine). You can see everything I've managed to cram into this thing, and I'm quite pleased with myself. I even have some extra space behind my phone, so I moved my tissue box there to free up even more desk space. It's VERY sturdy and heavy. br>br> If you don't make it move, it won't. Because of where it had to be and how often I reached for the items on it, this was a must for me. It hasn't moved a muscle on me in the entire time I've been watching it. br>br>It was a pain to put it together because some of the pieces were labeled incorrectly. Not to mention the fact that for the price (it was almost $40 when I bought it), I feel like it should have been assembled already. I estimate that it took me about an hour to put together with a screwdriver, including the time I spent staring blankly at the pieces that wouldn't fit together. If I had to do it all over again, I'd use a drill to drive the screws in - Overall, I think this is a great piece, and I'd buy it again if the need arose. br>br>Overall, I think this is a great piece, and I'd likely buy it again if the need arose.
This is fantastic! This is fantastic! It set up my new desk and gave it to me! It has a lot of character and is extremely well-kept. It also has a built-in pen holder, which I really like. br>br>From what I've seen in the reviews, they've made some changes. All of the other reviews complaining about the lack of labeling and ease of assembly are likely outdated. br>It comes highly recommended!.
I expected problems based on the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. Since the previous reviews, they must have improved their design. Using a manual screwdriver, I was able to unpack and assemble it in under 20 minutes. It would have been a lot faster with an electric driver. br>The pieces were numbered and labeled with easy-to-remove labels. Nothing was damaged because they were safely packed in styrofoam. A bag held the screws and other small parts. I started putting it together on my desk after doing a quick check to make sure no parts were missing. br>The assembly photos were simple to follow because they showed the holes in the pieces and made it clear which way to align the pieces. I didn't have to fight to get the parts to line up because the holes were perfectly drilled. It even came with black stickers to cover the four screw holes on the back (in case your desk, like mine, faces an open area) and four rubber feet to protect your desk from damage. If you have an Avaya phone like the one in my photo, you'll need to remove the plastic stand piece that comes with it, but the phone will fit fine after that. You can also put a mousepad under your phone if it slides or needs a little help, as some people have suggested.
12 in manufacturing costs by requiring the customer to assemble it for 30 minutes" type construction. Nothing out of the ordinary there. Because of the poor use of perspective in two places, the "assembly instructions" (just a diagram) are ambiguous. Best advice - Even if you think you know what it's telling you to do, keep an eye out for telltale signs such as which edges are natural wood and which are black. Overall, it's not as bad as most of this sort of thing. It's very sturdy once it's put together. It's where I keep my tablet and phone while I'm working so they can charge. There's enough room for tape dispensers, staplers, scissors, pens, and a few "special" items like my grip strengthener and telescoping back scratcher, among other things.
It's a simple enough assembly. During a 40-minute meeting call, I switched this off and on (while on mute). br>br>It would have been helpful if the pieces had been labeled A - Z. I did so because it's how they're referred to in the instructions. However, comparing the screw holes makes it simple to figure out which pieces are involved and where they should go. br>br>I was relieved to find a screwdriver on a shelf I had ordered a few months before. It's required and isn't included in the kit. br>br>It gives my desk a professional appearance! (pictures of before and after are included).
They rely solely on images. Images that may or may not be accurate representations of the piece. The numbering on the two side pieces was off. I ended up taking it home and having my boyfriend assist me in putting it together, despite the fact that I usually have no trouble putting things together. Please re-read the instructions. Make sure to include both pictures and words in your instructions! I'm sorry, but I'm not able to repeat what my boyfriend said about the instructions. UGH!.
Organization is important. It's made of a tough material. The finish had a few chips, but that's to be expected in my experience. It will assist you in organizing. br>However, I wish there were one or two inserts for the pen, scissors, and other small items. slot. Everything is pushed against each other, resulting in a jumbled mess; Getting things in and out can be a pain. br>You'll need a Phillips screwdriver to put it together, so have one on hand.
Everything seems to be in order. To be honest, it's very cute and doesn't appear to have any flaws, but because I made it, some parts were extremely difficult for me to complete. I wish the holes for the small screws that hold the phone in place were premade because I had to pretty much screw it into the piece myself, which was extremely frustrating. The rest was relatively simple.
