This was only used for a month or so. I had no idea there were two ridges on the top (presumably to keep your phone in place), but my phone is wider than most, so it never sat flat. After about a week, the black paint on the corner began to peel. I believe it would have served its purpose well if the ridges were not on the top. I measured to make sure my phone would fit, but the ridges aren't mentioned in the description, and I didn't notice them in the photo.
This product appeals to me - On top of that, I placed my desk phone, followed by paperwork. My desk now has a cleaner appearance. However, it isn't quite wide enough to fit my entire phone on top. I suppose I should've chosen a larger size. Because they aren't standard sizes, make sure you take measurements first!.
Spend your money wisely and purchase something that will serve you well. To get it to work, I have to turn my phone around. It was all folded up when it arrived. The paint began to peel off in the corners as I bent it into shape. The middle of the side tray is bent. Very let down.
I like the height it provides, as well as the side that holds my phone message book (it used to be on my desk, but there was never enough room for it, so I had to move it out of the way all the time).
This isn't designed for a regular phone unless you have a very small one. If you're trying to use it as an office, it's probably not the best choice. It also didn't hold the small pads and pen that were shown. Anything placed beneath it would have to be small as well. This isn't the best option.
The small side section is ideal for supporting my back. I can store my notepad in the area beneath the hard drive.
The fact that the stand is not sturdy is my main concern. I'm attempting to work with it, but it appears to be frail.
This is ideal for my new workstation. I like that I can slide my note pad underneath it when I'm not taking notes from phone calls because there isn't a lot of space.
