Wheels can be used either as castors or as any type of wheels. There should be an 8mm diameter on the castors.
Counting the two stands I own, I have four. There is no way I would use them for printers because they are the strongest, most wobble free stands I've ever encountered. Each of my shelves has a heavy, vintage ham radio on the top. Heavy is what I mean! Honestly, I'm not about to weigh them, but I can tell you that it would be difficult to find another printer stand that would hold things this way without them wobbling!
A tape measure was used to measure my Oropy Vintage Printer Stand. With the supports in place, the frame measures 15 1/2 inches across. The steel legs/supports, however, lie flat and level with both shelf surfaces, so you can put an item as wide as 17 1/2 inches on them. As you can tell, I am extremely happy with my purchase. The product is both strong and easy to assemble. It has an upper shelf where I store a heavy power supply, and a lower shelf where I store a heavy ham radio. The result is fantastic!

In the past, I purchased this for my printer, but changed my mind and decided to use it for my craft table instead. That means I have to buy another one. The unit did wobble a little without anything on it and I tightened up all the bottom attachments, but once items are placed on it, the weight holds it down and there is no problem.
It looks good, can be easily assembled, and is very Additionally, a screwdriver was included, which was very thoughtful.
Although my printer barely fits on there, all that matters is that it does. It will be my goal to get the measurements right next time. It was not too difficult to put together. As you can see, it doesn't require any pre-existing components It's not the best, but it works for screwing into the pressboard by hand. Not the best, but it's not the worst.
As you could see in the pictures, it was a good price and looked nice. As most people spoke of the ease of assembly in the reviews, this product was well received. While I certainly have the tools (cordless power drill/driver, etc. ), I thought that once I have a minute, I'll have a go at it So, I decided to see what I had in store for me. No BS, folks, just the facts. When I unpack this thing from its box, it takes me as long to assemble it as it does to assemble it. If you read the instructions, it takes less than five minutes to assemble, and I used the manual screwdriver that came with it, as all the holes were drilled and aligned properly. The chair was assembled on a level table and I was able to adjust the feet to cure a little wobble once I put it on. Several laptops have been tested and they fit snugly on their shelves. I spent a weekend digging through electronic spaghetti under the desk to make sure nothing was broken. Almost as if the shelf set had been measured under my desk before being built by the company. I couldn't ask for a better shelf set for my use.
This product was supposed to come with casters so I could easily move it under my desk, but I was disappointed to find that it does not. So I went to the hardware store and bought some heavy duty casters, and it worked great once I put them on. This printer is a little smaller than I originally anticipated, but it doesn't affect the performance since it still fits really nicely and you can stack quite a bit of paper.
It would be perfect to fit the stand under my desk. I don't have any desk space at all. Because of the wheels from home depot, it is a little taller than I wanted, but it is much better at ground level. I wouldn't be able to place it on my work desk because it would eat up too much space. It may be more convenient if your printer is one that sits on your desk. In terms of color, it goes well with my desk and suits the current style well. As a result, you make do with what is available to you.
I believe this purchase was one of the best purchases I've ever made. Any electronic or digital device that is heavily loaded will fit perfectly on the printer stand. Using it for a power supply on the lower shelf and an amateur radio set on the upper shelf, it held a lot of gear. This finish is almost a coincidence since the wood of the desk matches this finish. A solid steel frame holds the stand firmly in place without flexing. Air can flow between the shelves easily so heat can dissipate, and the upper shelf keeps the transceiver display screen level with the observer for comfortable viewing from the seated position. Feet that follow an oval shape appear on the bottom of the stand so as not to damage the desk top. Despite having just one tool needed, assembly is very simple - all that is required is the single tool provided. Screwdrivers with Philips heads are available. A few minutes are required to assemble it. Here is a picture you can see. In most cases, this is an appropriate purchase if the dimensions match your needs.
Since the holes in the metal sides are bigger than those in the wood boards, it's hard to make sure the top surface of the boards line up with the top of the metal sides (or aligned any other way) in this situation. It was conscientiously assembled so that the metal and wood surfaces were flush, but the instant enough weight was applied, they began shifting a little and the metal/wood had no longer been In essence, this was a poorly designed program. Furthermore, the boards had unused cams in them, so I think they are repurposed from some other product. There may be a reason the parts aren't perfectly tailored for one another in that respect. Furthermore, the screws do not appear to be made of high My screws shouldn't be covered in metal shavings when I screw something in by hand, and they shouldn't slide off any time I step on them. The metal prong on one of the metal/wood joints was slightly bent, making it impossible to get all 4 sides to be flush at the same time. There is a small part of me that regrets buying this. I guess it would suffice if you plan to put something expensive on top of it. But I would suggest you use something that is designed properly if you plan to put something expensive on top of.
