It's not a lot, but it's not nothing. It is a common problem with most reviews that people leave them as soon as they first use the product. I personally believe the desk is fairly good. I realize that clamp desks aren't the best solution, but hey, they do the job. My first impression was that it would look worse than it really did. Having used this thing for about two months, I can tell you that it works great. There's an issue with the desk because it dips downward at an angle when it's fully inserted. due to the lack of support for the back of the desk, so it hangs a little and leads to its feeling of instability. In either case, it won't make a major difference because you won't use the desk when it's pushed all the way in. I have experienced two instances where two screws have popped out at random times when I had it all the way out and I was typing on it.

My other BIG issue is the fact that the device was difficult to adjust. They did not come into contact with me. At the time I assembled the cabinet, I KNOW I screwed them on tight. I mentioned before that the desk hangs at an angle when pushed back, which means that all the weight shifts to the back each time you move it, which makes the clamp that connects the clamp to the actual desk move as well. It is only logical to assume that the screws will loosen with time. This would mean that you will need to tighten the screws again every now and then. Overall, my experience has been pretty good. It seems like this clamp desk is as good as it gets when compared to other clamp desk reviews. In spite of my negative impression, I still recommend this book. I love the tray size because it affords ample room for a mouse and full-size ergo keyboard (with numeric keypad) and never feels cramped or run off the edge of the tray with the mouse as some smaller trays do. There is a heavy feeling to the tray and it looks as if it is made of hard materials. It makes me very nervous, though, to insert those tiny screws into the clam. I worry they will loosen and fall out easily -- Despite this, we haven't seen it yet. I particularly like the fact that the tray it holds up is quite heavy. While the tray does angle down slightly instead of laying completely horizontal (annoying at times, but workable nonetheless), it is still reasonably usable. To prevent this from happening, I tried moving the clamps as suggested, but it hasn't worked. There is no easy way to 'adjust' the tray much so that I can move it easily between two height tables I have - this is something I would like to be able to do every now and then. Currently the lock is clamped onto the current table, and it needs to be separated from the clamp (easily) Once the knob is turned, you will need to turn it back to get at the screws to raise or lower the tray, do this to the other side, carefully move the tray (heavy), and insert the small screws again while tightening them then release clamp and position on second I would have preferred the tray height to be adjustable by a knob instead of just a screw in the nut In spite of all this, After installing the tray, I now have a main set up for my desk that is much more ergonomic suited to me than the previous setup. The best thing about this chair is that it can be adjusted in height so it's the perfect fit. I didn't have room for my keyboard on my first one because it fit so tightly to the bottom of the desk. On this one, there are no issues, and it's just as strong as it's supposed to be. I highly recommend this book!
