Unsafe. Terrifyingly terrifying. When I apply light pressure during simple mousing and typing, it slams all the way down and slams into my desk. This has happened a number of times before. Any part of the body, including a child's hand, could be caught, resulting in a serious injury. br>I am so grateful that my daughter was spared from being crushed. I make sure it's not in a raised position when she's around. This is something you should not buy. This has significant flaws, which I believe should be reported to Amazon in some way. It's like working with a bomb on your desk when you use this. br>br> You get into a good work flow, and then it all comes crashing down around you, much like our democracy.
I'm short and have bifocals on my eyes. The monitor is also raised on a typical stand-up desk. I can raise the monitor to its highest position and then raise the keyboard stand, and it's perfect; it's so much better for my back than sitting all day. It's sturdy, with enough room for my keyboard, mouse, and pad, as well as a small section on the left. It really works. I hardly notice the difference in height between it and my desk when it's at its lowest setting. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I'd do it. My only suggestion is to make it so that you can lower it more easily. You must raise it to the highest point possible until it releases, then lower it. It's not a deal breaker, but I'd like to offer my honest opinion.
The issue is that lowering it is difficult. To get it to lower down, you must pull it all the way up, and it will do so regardless of what you do. So, if you were at height 3 and wanted to go down to height 2, you'd have to pull it all the way up to 6, then lower it to 0, then pull it back up to height 2. It's also a bit tricky to get it to disengage the lock and actually lower it when you pull it all the way down. Normally, I'm forced to try three different things. 4 times, resulting in me simply yanking at the top of the riser while it is at its highest level to see if it will actually lower. Because of this, and because of the price, I'm hesitant to recommend it to others, even though it does a good job when it works.
I needed a good riser for my keyboard and mouse so that I could work while standing. I didn't want a flimsy plastic laptop riser, though. This product ticked all of my boxes when I came across it. This is a well-made product that will last a long time. My only gripe is that the surface collects a lot of fingerprints, so I'm constantly wiping it down. 2- three times over the course of an eight-hour period Working day of ten hours. In an attempt to solve this problem, I've decided to purchase some flat black vinyl wrap and wrap the top surface. Once the mod is finished and tested for a week or so, I will update this review.
I highly recommend this product, which I purchased after pulling a muscle in my leg that made sitting at my desk painful. This platform is very sturdy and heavy, with plenty of room for the keyboard and mouse, as well as your coffee mug if desired. The bottom rubber grips keep it in place nicely. I've had it for about a month, and despite the fact that my leg has healed, I still enjoy using it because I find that working standing up is more productive. I'd seen some similar products on Amazon for a lower price; Based on the reviews for those items, I believe you should spend the extra $20. Spending $30 on a solid product like this is a great deal. If the product does not hold up over time, I will update my review, but I honestly don't see how such a simple design could fail; All it seems to need is a little lubrication now and then.
Because my monitors are already mounted and move up and down, I was looking for something that simply raised my keyboard and mouse. This little stand, with its odd bendable legs and separate mouse table, is, in my opinion, superior to the others. br>br> PROSbr> Sturdybr> Rises just enoughbr> plenty of room for keyboard mouse (though not much else unless you have a keyboard with no number pad)br> attractive enough on the deskbr>br>- CONS
- This thing is a hulk of a thing. It would be inconvenient to move it on a regular basis. br>- At first, it's a little confusing to use; you have to raise it until it clicks, then keep going until you reach your desired height. Lift all the way to the top and then slowly lowerbr>- I wish I hadn't used the included wrist strip on the desk because it's hard and uncomfortable to wear for more than a few minutes. There's a tape-up if I remove it now. ybr>residue- despite the drawbacks, I am satisfied with this productbr>br>cost. a little too expensivebr>br>Overall, despite the drawbacks, I am satisfied with this product. It's basic, but it gets the job done, and it doesn't feel like a cheap gimmick. I suppose you'll have to pay a little more for that level of quality. In my situation, I would recommend it.
It was far too simple to implement. Lift it up and place it on the desk. Boom. It stays firmly in place. There won't be any sliding or slipping. It doesn't need to be attached to anything, and the bottom is extremely grippy. This is fantastic! In a matter of seconds, you can have it up or down. The price, ease of use, and quality are all excellent. Extremely long lasting. Purchase it right now!.
Very durable and high-quality! This turned out to be a lot better than I had hoped for. It's built to last and does its job admirably. I have a HUANUO Dual Monitor Mount, Full Motion Monitor Arm Stand, and this keyboard, and they all work great together. A mat is also something I would recommend. I bought AmazonBasics Premium Anti-Aging Cream from Amazon. Standing Comfort Mat to Relieve Fatigue The only thing missing is a wireless keyboard, which isn't really a requirement right now but might be in the future. The purchase was a great success. br> The stand-up office is finished.
