The receipt spike is a nice weight and feels great in my hand when I'm holding it to stab a zombie in the head. For all zombie hunters, this is a must-have item. It can also be used to hold receipts!.
It appears that if I file into a point, it will work fine because the end result is FLAT! Most likely as a result of the lawsuit-happy world. There was no rubber tip on it! Also, because the point isn't sharp enough, I'm going to file it down to make it easier to stob the tapes. In the 1970s, I used these to collect my adding machine tapes while working in banking. I bought this to keep the unused roll of adding machine tape from falling out of the plastic tabs on my adding machine, which had broken off, and this has solved my problem.
