Having to take care of my grandmother after a stroke required me to purchase a bell for her. By her bed, she kept a bell. I had no idea that the bell could be broken that easily. I thought it was hard to hold. After two days, it broke when it was picked up and fell off the nightstand.
This ring has a nice loud ring without requiring too much effort. My mother was a resident of home hospice with me as her main caregiver, and it always caught my attention. I knew the minute she became ill. For a little piece of mind, the price is absolutely worth it.
The item was purchased specifically for my mother to be able to hear me from her bedroom at night when she needs me. In spite of the fact that it was advertised as loud, it is not at all loud and cannot be heard in another.
