This bell was extremely irritating for me for a period of two months. Spend more money for a better working bell. The top sometimes gets stuck and you have to readjust it often. It sometimes gets stuck after a few hits, and after a couple of more hits, it does nothing. My class uses it for transitions between lessons, so it's hard when the bell gets stuck and kids are confused about whether they heard it or not.
