I needed a way to jot down all of my notes in one place so that they would always be together, both at my desk and on the road. This is something I'll want to pick up and use on a regular basis because it has enough room for an additional 5 x 8 pad on the left side and still closes neatly. I'll never do it, but I was curious as to how much additional space there might be. I didn't want anything that zips shut because I only need to take it out of my purse when I need to make a quick note. When I'm on the go and taking notes, I like that the front cover can completely flip to the back. I can't wait for the leather to develop a lot of personality over time as a result of heavy use! I bought 20lb paper for notes locally, and the canary color appealed to me. The Amazon basics, on the other hand, are adequate. I think it's 15 pound paper, but I'm not sure, because it tears off easily and doesn't bleed through with my marker pen.

This notepad holder has a major flaw, and I doubt I'm the only one who has noticed it. Because the leather is untreated, it can be scratched by even the tiniest object with a sharp edge. And the scratch has a fair amount of depth to it. I was dead set on resolving this issue because I adored this item. I began by using Fiebings Aussie Leather Conditioner. I thought that if the leather was softer, it would be less likely to show a scratch, so I used Vaseline. No luck. Second, I attempted to use brown shoe polish. It only served to cover up the existing scratches to a degree. Finally, I used brown leather dye and let it dry for several hours, but it was still extremely scratchy. I contacted the seller, who advised me to send it back. br>br>Has this happened to anyone else? Please let me know so I can adjust this review if this was an isolated incident.

The leather is a lovely shade of dark brown, supple and soft, and held together with an even and attractive lighter brown stitching, equaling or bettering that of padfolios costing three to four times the price. It's sturdy enough to withstand years of use while also improving in appearance with time. br>The pad sleeve is an unexpected, but nicely contrasting shade of deep burgundy suede, with the maker's mark inconspicuously stamped beneath the pad's bottom right. br>The sleeve side is finished in the same way as the outside, with two 45-degree angles. To make it easier to get things into and out of the sleeve, there are 90-degree corner cuts at the top and bottom. The card slots are not located along the bottom edge of the sleeve, but rather in the middle of the sleeve, with a "V" at the open end and a 45-degree angle. Then I closed it, and it lay flat with no strange indications that it was overstuffed or in need of some many-to-many-to-many-to-many-to-many-to-many-to-many- months- a long period of time Whether it's during a period or not, It just sat there, smelling like a fresh piece of leather. Then I reopened it, and it lay flat open again. There will be no break-up this time. attempting to self-close or in the process of doing so - It simply lay there, as if it had been there for miles and years. My only regret is that I didn't get it stamped or monogrammed (I'm not sure if that was an option). The only thing I would change, and I may contact the company to see if they would make it custom for me, is to make one of the biz card pockets larger so that 3x5 cards would fit instead of 2x4 cards when this one wears out in a decade or so when this one wears out. In any case, I'll be purchasing other products from this company, such as the 8x11 one, and so on.

It is true that this notepad cover is made of high-quality leather. It's even nicer than it appears in the description. When we went to the grocery store, I accidentally left my old, worn-out notepad behind. We needed a replacement for this size notepad, which we use for our grocery list. The leather is supple and pleasant to the touch. There are no loose or stray threads in the stitching, which is straight and sturdy. I'm almost glad we got rid of the old one and didn't buy a cheap plastic or fake leather replacement. I'm hoping we don't lose this notepad because it's ideal!.

This is my second purchase from OLPR, a small business located just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. The Dublin Leuchtturm1917 Journal Notebook and Cover, which was my first purchase, was of exceptional quality. It's no different with this notepad holder. Unbelievable craftsmanship and quality. At this price point, I'm not sure how they do it. The leather is buttery soft and will develop a beautiful patina over time. This company only uses natural tanned leather and environmentally friendly vegetable products. If you order directly from them, you can expect quick delivery and genuine customer service. I'm so glad I found OLPR, and they're right in my state. I'm confident that I'll be buying more of their fine, handcrafted leather in the future.

This is the one I purchased and I am very pleased with it. It was sold for a fraction of what it was worth in terms of craftsmanship. It's absolutely stunning. I also like the hidden pocket behind the pad where I can keep receipts and cash. It has such a lovely scent. And the feel, the look, the design, and the build are all perfect! I'll use it for the rest of my life; I love it, and it's perfect. I believe the vendor can, and probably should, raise the price. . . I would have paid $10. 00 - $20. 00 more. I believe it is a one-of-a-kind item, and anyone interested in purchasing it should expect to pay a premium for this level of quality.
