They arrived in a timely manner, packaged in a small retro box to protect them. In that box, they could be given as a gift, but I'm keeping them! They're made of good stock (not quite as thick as a traditional bookmark, but not as thin as regular paper) and are the perfect size for a paperback book. There are many different styles to choose from. Some look like old photographs, while others resemble vintage postcards or newspaper clippings and maps. There's a nice balance of feminine and masculine styles here. This would be a great box to buy and give as a gift with a book of bookmarks.
Aesthetically pleasing, sturdily constructed, and a bountif a fantastic package for a voracious reader like me, who has a dozen books open at any given time, each with multiple bookmarks. The bookmarks aren't what I'd call "standard" bookmark size, but they're a little smaller. In light of their purpose, I think this is a good idea. Patterns are so appealing that I shift through them to choose one when I'm in need of one. Marks are tough enough to withstand the wear and tear that comes with reading a book. I'll order more when I need them (but thirty is a lot to mangle, lose, or otherwise dispose of!).
I eventually figured out how to make a fabric casing and slide two bookmarks inside. You can use leftover fabric scraps or purchase fat quarters to make this project. For the top tab, you'll need a matching gleaming ribbon. br> You can make a bunch for family and friends, and once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to whip one up in a matter of minutes. I sew with a sewing machine, and if you need assistance, search for sewing patterns on Etsy in Google. If you're giving as a gift, you could also make matching key chains. I found free instructions for making a Kate Spade key fob on the internet (google DIY Kate Spade key fob). Have fun!.
These are ideal for bookmarking places in large books as well as those small little books you have. I'm a huge fan of these. I initially mistook them for cheap because they are made of paper, but in reality, I use them all the time. I actually misplaced my first pack, which had been given to me, and had to go out and reorder them. These are the most adorable bookmarks you'll ever see. I wish they were available in a variety of colors. I don't care for the designs on them, but I adore these.
I bought these with the intention of giving them away, but I like them so much that I kept them, especially since I am reading several books. The quality and quantity are both excellent, and I enjoy using these markers.
The designs are really cool. It's also a fantastic price! I really like these bookmarks and would recommend them to any bookworms you know. I have a slight obsession with bookmarks, and these are far more durable, well-crafted, and well-designed than the typical ones I see. It's a fantastic deal to get 30 of these for less than $7. The bookmarks have really cool designs and are a little small, but they're perfect for any novel. I think these would make a great little stocking stuffer for Christmas or a nice little gift for any bookworms in your life, so I'll be looking into purchasing more of them.
These bookmarks are adorable, and there are a lot of them. They're a little frail, but they get the job done. Exactly what I was looking forbr>Some people were complaining about how thin they werebr>Omg, there are so many in the box. If you want something more durable, you'll have to pay a little more. br>I have so many books that, in addition to marking where I left off, I like to write in where I found something I'm sure I'll want to return to. I was overspending on the more durable ones because I have way too many books.
The surface is too slick. These bookmarks are too thick for my taste, and even a thick hardcover's binding is slightly distorted by them. The fact that they are slippery due to their glossy surface is even more aggravating. I'd like one near the beginning and end of a large book so I can quickly access notes or the table of contents, but they keep falling out, so I waste a lot of time chasing them down. They're tough as nails.
