They can be written on, and the ink does not smear once dry, but it does wear off over time. I recommend using a sharpie because it does not smear and remains visible for a longer period of time.

The best page flags are still the best

They stick when you want them to and then disappear without a trace when you're done with them. The text is visible thanks to the clear part. The color choices are appealing because they are appealing to the eye. catches the eye but isn't overpowering. The flags' heft is just right for a gentle touch. Tabs will be used if I need more stiffness.

It can be reused

I purchased a single package and reused it. They have a good grip and are not easily torn. This is the textbook I use for pharmacology. I make a note of each chapter I'm working on so I can find it quickly. The colors are lovely, and you can write on them with a marker if you want to, but I don't.

Flags that are too thin to fly

In my textbooks, I use these flags to label chapters. These aren't the more durable ones I had hoped for; instead, they're flimsy. It'll do for now, but next time I'll get the thicker ones.

It's simple to write on this surface. As a teacher, I find them ideal for identifying classes in my grade book and attendance book by using them as tabs. Each flag has a clear bottom half. They can be moved or reused without tearing the page, and they leave no sticky residue. They are fantastic.
