How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
STRONG PLASTIC - Our binding coils make it simple to create flat-bound projects. They look great on business proposals, reports, menus, and more thanks to their durable plastic construction that won't bend or snag.
PRECUT COILS - Each TruBind coil is 12 inches long and is the perfect size for a letter-sized book, document, or binding project. Because our coils have a lot of extra material, you can crimp the ends for a finished look.
PRE-SIZED 12-MM COILS - These TruBind plastic coils have a diameter of 12mm (15/32 inch) for increased durability and holding strength. Pre-sized coils make it simple to bind books, documents, and reports in the office.
BINDING CAPACITY - When bound, each of our plastic coils can hold up to 92 sheets of standard 20 copy paper. This gives you a maximum binding capacity of 7/16 inch thick, which is ideal for most office projects.
Our plastic coils have 48 loops per 12-inch coil and are compatible with most 4:1 coil-binding machines. Their pitch is 4:1, which corresponds to the 4-holes-per-inch punching pattern on the book's side.

Questions & Answers

The ends of these coils are razor sharp. How do you cut them so that they don't cut you by pulling threads from your clothes?

I recently purchased a binding machine (hole puncher) and coils and have begun to use them. I basically copied what commercially bound booklets do: either side of the coil is bent at an angle to prevent the coil from rolling and releasing sheets by accident. The sharp ends of the coil are also kept from catching on things by bending the coil at the ends. I hope this has been of assistance.
