This felt board was great in principle, but it disappoints me in the end! In a case like this, I expect the lines to be straight and level. The piece is one of a geometrical design, so you can see that the lines aren't straight. Honestly, I'm seriously thinking about returning and going with another firm solely based on this factor. It's impossible to mess up something like that! **UPDATE
In exchange for an updated review, Northwell contacted me after I submitted my first review (see above) and offered to send me a new letter board that they would inspect for quality. After I placed my order, I received the letter board the next day, which is just beautiful. I like its unique shape, and I appreciate the fact that Northwell values their customers and makes sure the purchase is.
Letters were delivered in perfect condition and included with the board were its stand, scissors, and a little pouch to hold them. We take the letters off the plastic they are attached to after they have been delivered to us. A recent update I personally received a phone call from the manufacturer, who apologized profusely for sending me a used item. This is so disappointing, I bought it and sent it to myself overseas only to find out that As you move to the right, the lines don't stay level, leaving the words/letting climbing upwards. The quality of this product is unacceptable! You can't get this wrong, how can you? As it stands, I now have to pay an outrageous amount of money to ship it back after I spent extra to ship it This is a waste of money and time! Taking a look at previous bad reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue.
Some months ago, I encountered some damage (my fault) to an older version of this adorable board I bought a year or two ago. The customer service is excellent - I can't speak highly enough of it They replaced my board with the new, improved one for no cost to me, and the new stand and letters they developed were included. Thank you so much for the kindness and quick response from the owners. I am extremely happy with the product. Once again, thank you so much!.
I'm very happy with this purchase. You can write just about anything in this space, and it is super cute. This stick does a fairly good job of staying up on its base. It was quite apparent that others experienced issues with the scissors that were provided, which I also did at first but I eventually found that the tip of the scissors is not the best place to cut and cutting towards the other end of the tip is far more effective. My only two complaints are the stand was a slightly different color(more yellow) from the wood used on the board (more red), but in practice you do not notice it and there were also some yellow spots discoloring the board, which irked me most. It does not appear there are any major problems, but we may want to investigate. It doesn't matter how it is made I still love it.

During the re-write, I discovered a mistake My only issue was having to glue and clamp them myself. But otherwise it's a unique and fun letterboard.
