There's no way to secure it to a desk, but it's very sturdy and stable, and I've never had any problems with it slipping or moving while raising or lowering it. I am an older woman who is 5'3" tall.
No, I'm not shaky when I type; in fact, I'm having a great time with it and can't imagine life without it!
We measured the depth of the center and found it to be 16 inches. We have two 23-inch monitors stacked on top of each other. I hope this has been of assistance.

However, around that time, I began to experience carpal tunnel syndrome, which I believe is related to my workstation. To get around the sides of the keyboard tray, I have to bend my hands outward, which causes pain on the outside of my wrists. On the tray, there's barely enough room for an ergonomic keyboard and mouse. My wrist pain is improving now that I've stopped using this desk. br>I believe this could be improved by extending the keyboard across the entire width of the desk and removing the side hinges, which would encroach on your arms. It would also be beneficial if the keyboard tray could be slid out. br>I thought the price of this desk was a good deal compared to others I'd purchased for work, but now that I can't use it, I guess it's not so good.
As a result, I use the computer for both my regular job and my schoolwork (after work). These conversion desks, on the other hand, are ESSENTIAL for my back. And it appears that this one offers the most value for money. br>The desk is extremely sturdy and does not sway or vibrate when in use. It doesn't matter if it's up or down, which is very important to me. br>I recommend that you purchase this particular one. It is the most affordable (and of good quality) option on the market.
Because I work from home, this has been a game changer. I adore it and couldn't imagine not having it when working from home:
- ERGONOMIC ASSESSMENT: I purchased the 36" and it fit me perfectly (I am 5'8*" tall). My boyfriend, who is 6 feet tall, found it to be too small, so I would advise measuring before using. I also appreciate how high the screen is.
- EASY- ASSEMBLE: It took me 15 minutes to put together with no breakdown; I'm not a construction expert, but this was surprisingly simple. br>- STURDY: This is a HEAVY responsibility. It is literally so heavy that I can only carry it for about 20 feet before needing to rest. br>br>One thing to note is that we keep it on a desk because it is so heavy and bulky. This may not be the best option if you need to move it back and forth from a table (unless you are strong and looking for a good workout:.
I can't seem to get it to work for me. The keyboard shelf does not move, which was the first issue. It's pre-programmed and ready to use. Even though there are knobs on it that make it appear to be adjustable, they are only there for decoration. You can't push it in for storage, and you can't adjust the height when using it to fit your height. In addition, I'm always raising my arms and slamming the two sides together. On it, I have a laptop and a big monitor. At one point, I required two laptops, which was a complete disaster. It could be because I'm only 5'2" tall. Shrug. **Update: Yes, it's unusable for me due to arm slamming and the dropping of anything I dare to rest near those two small side planks. Don't forget to take measurements of your desk as well. This is a huge thing.
It appears to be fairly durable. It performs admirably. The assembly is simple. Once you've got it set up, make sure your cables are out of the way. I'm 6'2" and it's just the right size for me when I'm at my tallest, and I have a larger late-model body. No problems with a 2013 iMac and a thunderbolt display (I'm not sure what size they were, but they fit fine). When I rotated one of the screens to plug in cables, I scratched the surface because the aluminum base had a burr. A sharpie and a paper towel were all it took to fix this. br>br>When raising and lowering the desk, use your hands to guide it and maintain control. I doubt it will simply collapse, but if one of the pistons fails, you'll need to be able to stabilize or catch your gear. br>br>The keyboard tray isn't as sturdy as I'd like, but I don't think it'll be a problem if you don't lean on it or press down too hard. The entire desk is solid and does not sway. br>br>The only apparent drawback is that it takes a lot of pulling to get it to raise up, but this could be because I haven't adjusted the pistons yet. With these two screens, it has a lot of weight on it, so I don't think that's a problem. When I raise it, it occasionally slides forward, but the surface I'm on is extremely slippery. br>br>I'm happy with the purchase I made.
I'm glad I took a chance because it's turned out to be fantastic! It was simple to put together because all that was required was the addition of the keyboard tray and two leg extensions. The materials used in its construction are extremely strong and long-lasting, and I expect it to last for many years. My coworker paid over $500 for hers, and now she wishes she had seen this one first! Thank you for producing such a high-quality product at such a low cost!.
Because I don't have access to a desk at home, I purchased this. I was making a coffee table when I came across this. It took two people to lift it into the house because it was so heavy. & It was difficult to change positions; I had to go to the back of the desk to adjust the height because I couldn't do it from the front. In addition, I only had it for maybe three months. One of the height-adjustment levers became loose, and it is no longer secured to the table top. I can no longer adjust it by myself because one person must hold one lever (which is loose and cannot be squeezed one-handed). The other one is in my possession. Then we'll apply all of our force to it. It did the job I needed it to do, but I was hoping the lever wouldn't come loose. I had hoped to be able to adjust the height of the chair with ease.
To begin, my only minor criticism is that the keyboard tray is a smidgeon too small, though only by a couple of inches. It's not the same as saying it's not there. If I had to buy it again, I'd think about whether it's functional or even annoying. br>br>Aside from that, it works flawlessly. I've got two 24-hour batteries. inch monitors are connected to a 13-inch MacBook Pro that fits perfectly between them. At a slight angle, the two monitors just brush up against each other. The keyboard tray can hold a full-size keyboard. br>br> size 10- a mouse and a keyboard If you want a standing desk but don't want to buy a new desk, this product is a good option. Since I've been using it, I've noticed a reduction in the pain I get from my sciatica.
