My husband and I bought this when we started working from home (hopefully only temporarly) While COVID was underway, I did not want to run out of money by purchasing a standing desk at home that was similar to my work setup. My research put this one on average higher than others, and its reviews tended to be good. While the design appears nice at first, there are 3 major issues I have with the product 1) Using a mouse is incredibly frustrating. Having the keyboard tray at the back makes it very difficult to position the mouse to be more comfortable and restrict the space available. Neither my wireless standard mouse nor my ergonomic wired mouse have been able to perform this function. 2) It was much more difficult than I had Getting it up the first two times may be difficult because it's supposed to be assisted The first 3 inches are hard, after which it moves okay, but going from full sitting to any standing height is very difficult. I have to be very careful and lift it very hard straight up. Even with almost nothing on it, it is very difficult. My desk is not a weak spot, so it takes effort for me to get it to lift. If I am not careful about lifting it straight up, I find it slides around on my desk and before lifting, if I am not careful. As soon as I pull slightly forward, the whole thing will just shift around on the desk rather than lift. In addition to the monitors, I have various clamp arms attached to the back of the computer (the recommended one from the same company), so there is no way I can remove each of those every time their position needs to be changed. The monitor system was already uncomfortable to lift before it had the monitors attached, but the monitors do make it more difficult since the monitors put it off balance enough. In contrast, my standing desk (similar concept, totally different brand/model) lifts SO easily that I barely have to exert any effort any time I raise or lower it, and I have the monitors sitting on it without fear of them falling over when it is lifted and lowered. With this one, I'm glad they're physically attached to the desk, because they'd almost certainly topple over every time.
3) The monitor is too high for sitting comfort. Please note I think it is an issue with the combination of my particular desk and the riser however, you might not have an issue as it is for others, but it has been quite an inconvenience for me. With this device sitting on top of a fairly standard height desk, the keyboard tray is sitting high enough now that it's pretty uncomfortable for a sitting position, and that was true even when using a regular keyboard, but my ergonomic keyboard elevated it even more. The height increase was such that I had to get a new booster pad for my chair to compensate for the added height so that I wouldn't have to sit on a tall chair As my chair was already at full height, I was able to rotate my arms while typing. The average height of a woman is 5'7, so a height booster is not usually necessary for me. I know this might not be a problem for other desks/people, but for me it has certainly been a cause for concern. I regret buying this thing very much and would like to return it if I were being completely honest. Besides, I don't even know how I would return it since I no longer have the box (I recycled it because it was so big and took up so much space) and would have to figure out how to have it shipped back? Unfortunately for me, I have to live and die I guess this is something to learn from, but maybe this will offer some help to.

My experience with this product has been such that I have purchased another one for my home office. You already know from previous reviews that it is a fairly heavy unit, so This is a very stable system. You might be willing to take seriously the recommendation that you get someone to help you with the paperwork. Bilateral hernia surgeries can be quite expensive. If you do as I do, you might as well. You can hire someone else to do the work Be aware that if and when this puppy is put on two widescreen monitors, you will find that it is not as easy to raise as it appears from This solution gets the job done. If you plan to raise any standing desk units, you should be sure your monitor cable and peripheral cables are long enough before you do it. I just thought I'd mention it.

Last night, this desk was delivered to me after I ordered it two days ago. Two days weren't even supposed to pass before it would be here. An excellent amount of foam and plastic was used to pack the desk. The item is in perfect condition. Putting it together was not too difficult. A slight complaint may be that the front 2 tie wraps were a bit difficult to cut (they secure the desk at its lowered position while it is being shipped). As soon as it was assembled I set up my two displays (1 normal and 1 large 4K). You can raise it and lower it really easily. The low price worried me about the quality for a product of such a low price. I have used a Vari-Scan unit for years in my office and find it to be satisfactory For the last few years, I have been using a desk stand up desk. AirLift sells a similar desk for around $300, but this one costs quite a bit Also, I find the AirLift desk's controls less clunky than the Vari-Desk's when it comes to raising and lowering the desk At work, I have a desk. The lumbar support is definitely a godsend for my back as I get aches and pains sitting all day long at the office. It is also a great value for money since it is much cheaper than the other items I was considering. The quality of the item seems high, yet I have only had it for a couple weeks, so I can't tell if it will hold up over time. Besides how easy it moves, I like how it's lightweight and easy to use.

A great product with a great company! My life has literally been changed by the desk. I've spent so much time sitting and I was so tired. Trying to read this article, my wrist hurt, my back hurt, and my neck hurt. It changed when people were able to stand and work. As a result of my back and neck improvement, I am feeling more comfortable. Raised monitor stands allow me to adjust my monitors to the correct height, so I love using them. Although lifting it could be easier, it isn't too difficult. Plus, I have to praise the company for what they do. I began having issues with my desk rising over a year after purchasing it. My first step was to contact customer service to see if I could troubleshoot the problem. My issue was videotaped so they could see how it looks. Their review led to a new desk being sent to me.
