Questions & Answers
Sure, why not? You can raise and lower it by lifting a lever on the side! Because I alternate between standing and sitting frequently, I do this at least ten times a day. It's a very smooth upward or downward movement! I never have to worry about the desk being unloaded!
The keyboard tray's top surface is approximately 16" above the surface of the desk it is sitting on when fully extended. The monitor shelf's top surface measures about 19 inches. 5 inches above the desk's surface
There isn't much there. Attaching the keyboard tray is all there is to it. 1 minute and 45 seconds
Any level will bring it to a halt. My workstation is one of my favorites. It takes 20 minutes to go up and 20 minutes to go down.

Flexispot I use Veridesk at work and really wanted one at home, but I didn't want to pay the high Veridesk price, so I spent the last few weeks reading reviews, watching videos, and looking for sales, and I finally decided that the Flexispot should meet my needs for about half the price. Here's a breakdown of the differences I've noticed and which one I prefer in each category. Size - br>br> br>Measure and determine how much space you have, as well as what height is best for your eye level. Both are suitable for my eye level of 5'4". My Flexispot is 35" wide, and my Veridesk is 36" wide. At work, I have two monitors, and at home, I have one extra-wide gaming monitor, so both monitor setups take up a lot of room. Both desk systems, fortunately, are easily adaptable to their needs. br>br>Increasing/Decreasing - Tie (for different reasons)br>I really like how the Flexispot goes straight up instead of pulling towards me like the Veridesk does. It saves a lot of space and fits much better in my small home office, but Veridesk has levers on both sides (Flexispot only has one), and it's a little easier to raise the Veridesk. The Flexispot, on the other hand, should be no problem for anyone stronger than a 115lb petite female. br>br>Keyboard Tray is a device that allows you to carry your keyboard around with you. Both have large trays that can accommodate a keyboard and mouse, according to Veridesk. Because there is a little more room to move the mouse around in Veridesk, it takes the win. My mousepad hangs slightly off the tray with the Flexispot, as you can see in my photo, but it is an oblong shape. A square pad might work fine, and Flexispot (unlike the Veridesk) allows you to easily remove the keyboard tray if you prefer, which could be a useful feature for some. br>br>Quality in General - Verideskbr>Veridesk has a slight advantage because it feels a little sturdier and the mechanics appear to be a little smoother (and lighter). But something caught my attention. Flexispot's quality has wowed me. In terms of quality, it is definitely worth the money. br>br>Value is a term that refers to the amount of money that someone is willing to pay for something. Flexispotbr>Flexispot is the clear winner when it comes to value. It's less expensive, and the difference in quality isn't significant. Finally, if you're looking for a Veridesk but don't want to spend $400 on one, this is a great alternative. br>br>Conclusion - I am extremely pleased with my purchase and would rate the Flexispot a 4 out of 5 stars. If half-stars could be given, I'd give it a five.
I needed it for the ten hours I spend in front of my computer each day. The lift's compression cylinder had stopped working after only 5 months, much to my surprise. After contacting Amazon for technical assistance, I was directed to Flexispot after 48 hours. They didn't offer much assistance or support, and I've been exchanging emails with them for the past three weeks. I was asked to record myself lifting my computer, show proof of purchase, and so on, before being directed to contact Amazon for a refund by Flexispot. Nothing has been resolved as of yet. I'm not looking for a replacement or a refund. They are welcome to send the cylinder to me, and I will replace it. That's all I'm asking! br>Follow up with: I was finally able to return the item and receive a refund from Amazon.
I am not one to leave negative reviews, but I am currently bucking the trend. br>The desk appears to be a fantastic piece. In fact, I'm not sure there is one that isn't defective. I'm guessing I got one of the few items that were defective. It happens all the time. I used the desk for one day and raised and lowered it about three times during my eight-hour shift, as instructed by the vendor. The desk would not easily raise or stay up the next morning. The hydraulic fluid had leaked out and was all over my desk and had dripped onto my chair, which I discovered. I called the company first thing in the morning to inform them of the problem, as per their request. They requested that I take photographs and email them to them. That was done by me. They asked me to send a video the following day, or maybe two days later. That was a risky request; I'm on my own during the whole Covid saga, and I'm trying to film a non-existent person. It's not easy to create a functional desk. It slid down quickly, catching my finger. It had the potential to go disastrously wrong. Whatever the case may be, I did my best and sent it on. I haven't heard anything in the last two weeks. I tried contacting them a few times to see if they had any news, but they had not responded. br>Again, I believe this is a great product; however, the customer service should make everyone reconsider which company they use for their adjustable desk. It's been a nightmare from start to finish.
br>br> It arrived fully assembled (except for the keyboard tray, which had to be slid in) and ready to use. What's the big deal, it was simple!
2. It is quite sturdy, or to put it another way, very sturdybr>3. The action of lifting and descending is very smooth and simple. When I lift, it doesn't feel like I'm lifting with a computer (27' iMac) and a laptop. I don't think it would be a problem for someone who has trouble lifting (due to injury, etc. ).
4. Despite the fact that it is the "smallest" size, I have enough room to put everything I need on itbr>5. To wrap your wires, they come with a black plastic mesh with velcro. 12" in length!
6. They also come with plastic wire fasteners (4), which you can use to organize your wiresbr>7 by sticking them to the underside. Because the footings are rubber, they won't scratch your desk. br>8. In addition, the shipping packaging is quite sturdy. br>9. It's easy to clean and attractive. br>I don't have a monitor that would benefit from this, but the hardware to connect one is included. br>br>I'm just happy that I got good value for my money and that I can finally stand and sit when the time comes. br>br>Many thanks to Flexispot!.
