I'm a senior with a bad hip who does step-ups as a form of exercise. I am 6'3" and weigh 290 pounds, and this piece of equipment supports me without issue as part of a program prescribed by my physical therapist.
This is what I ordered for our small RV. Because there are no hanging stairs outside the RV, my mother has trouble climbing in, so I figured this would be useful. The following are some of my favorite features of this step stool: It's portable, has a carrying handle, and the legs are simple to open. The following are some of the aspects of this stool that I dislike: The rubber top isn't really "rubber," but more like plastic, and it doesn't lay flat (it's wavy and has indentations). Also, when standing on it with both feet (I'm 169 pounds), it doesn't feel particularly stable when stepping up into the RV, so I'm hesitant to use it for my mother (who weighs 295 pounds). Hopefully, this will work and she will not suffer any harm as a result of it. I'll let you know when it's been put to use by my mother. At that point, I'll change my star rating.
It's a functional product, but I honestly expected more given all of the positive reviews, and I was hoping to save a few dollars. The primary frame and structure of the product appears to be sound and sturdy, earning it a couple of stars. However, the main pad is warped, indicating poor quality control. Because the plastic one is warped, I believe it is. Pegs simply did not fit (or were stripped) during assembly or were not fastened properly. I don't think the plastic pad will stay on for very long because it's already loose, and repeated steps will just make it looser. Unfortunately, I wasn't expecting this problem because I need to use the product right away and don't have time to return or exchange it. I'll have to duct tape it down and use grip tape until I can afford a higher-quality product; sometimes you get what you pay for, and sometimes spending more is worth it. I would not recommend this product because the step/pad does not appear to be securely fastened, and there are potential quality control issues.
When you're standing on it, it's impossible to move. Strong and dependable. I'm not a petite lady; in fact, I'm quite the opposite. It does not scream in protest as a result of my weight. I'd like it to be two inches taller, but I'm not sure if it would still be as strong. This is sufficient height for most of the tasks that require a step stool. Those who aren't on the list Skid feet are a thing of the past. skid! It will make you feel secure.
The table is sturdy, with a large ribbed vinyl top surface and easily folded legs that can be stored when not in use. It has a carrying handle, and when the child comes to visit, they can find it and set it up. The steps in the bathroom before this were a second-best option. This hand plastic stool was wide and tall enough but lacked the gripper feet that this one did.
It meets all of my requirements. The large size step and sturdy legs give the disabled user a sense of security. Just the right amount of height for her to safely manoeuvre into a tall truck with both feet on the step. FINALLY! The simple fold with lock pins is one of my favorites.
I needed a step that I could tuck away in the corner of my kitchen. This step can be folded into a 2 inch square. It has a good foundation. I have a weight of 220 pounds. This raises the height by about 6 inches.
330 lbs? That's a lot of weight. It is not a problem. It has pop-ups when it is unfolded. Pins are used to secure the legs. It has a second set of pins that lock it into a folded position when it is folded. It has a non-slip surface. In addition, skids and feet are not permitted. skid. I've been looking for a sturdy step stool to support my 300-pound frame. I've tracked it down. I'm going to place another order.
