There is, in fact, a void. Take a look at the photo of the stool leaning against a cabinet. The legs are angled rather than straight.
It is 32. folded to 5 inches br>If you have any questions, please check the previous answers as I have already answered them. Having said that, this is an excellent two-step stool. For my company, I bought three of these stools. I've tried a few different types and this is the best one I've found.
The distance between the top step and the ground is 5 inches. it is 9. From the bottom step to the ground, there is a distance of 0 inches.

When folded, it folds easily and is thin. However, with an extra deep sink, it is too tall to fit under. Folds and unfolds without difficulty. It's not too heavy to move, but it's also not too light to slide around. The steps are wide and deep, making it easy to walk on them. My vinyl floor isn't scratched by the feet, and they don't slide around.
It's extremely durable and simple to operate. Tall enough to be useful at my height. It's simple to pick up with one hand and fits neatly into a small space.
It's a great ladder, and I use it almost every day. Setup and dismantling are simple. However, the lock that prevents it from collapsing is a little difficult to operate.
Never wiggles, always sturdy, and will keep me safe for many years!.
This step stool is by far the best-built step stool I've ever seen or used! It's well-designed, well-engineered, and long-lasting! The materials used in the construction are far superior to anything that could be considered adequate. VERY WELL DONE!.
I've never used a better folding step stool than this one. It's a lot more durable than others, and I feel very safe when I'm on the top step. It's very simple to fold and store, and it doesn't take up much space.
Unfortunately, it is much heavier than I expected, and the latch for opening and closing proved to be a challenge. It's also bigger than I anticipated, which is my fault because the measurements are available. I need to find a bigger storage space. Overall, it's a good buy, but not one I'd reach for on the spur of the moment.
