The base is 11" X 13" when open, and the platform you stand on is approx. 11" X 13" when closed. 11"X9"br>The height is approximately 11"X9".
The entire product is white, with embossed diamonds on the top to prevent it from skidding. The color you see is just for identification purposes.
There are only a few rubber pads on the legs, but I believe they were designed for floor protection rather than skid resistance. When someone steps on the stool, it has never slipped. It's something I use on a regular basis, and it's also something I use before I go out. It is used by the school grandchildren. So far, no falls have occurred (at least not due to the stool's fault).
I'm not sure. My current one is 9" tall and was purchased a year ago.
Selected User Reviews For B&R Plastics 101-6 EZ 9-Inch Foldz Step Stool, White
This step stool served us well for about ten years until it was broken by someone who didn't open it properly. This device is compact, strong, and long-lasting, and it can support up to 300 pounds. The top is textured, so it is not slippery, as you can see in the photos. The best part is that it folds down to less than two inches wide, which is quite impressive. We tuck it between the wall and the refrigerator so it's out of sight, but it's always handy when we need a little extra height to reach the top shelf of the kitchen cabinets. Finally, as impressive as it is, this is made in the United States, and is one of the few products that does not carry a significant (if any) price premium for being made here. This step stool is far superior in quality to similar step stools I've seen that cost roughly the same (or a dollar or two less) but are manufactured overseas. br>br>I hope this review aids you in making a purchasing decision.
This is what you'll need to get into the absurdly tall truck. Once you're in the cab, tie a length of rope through the handles, grab the rope, and pull the stepstool up into the cab. It's very sturdy, and the fact that it can support such a large load is fantastic. It folds up and tucks neatly behind the seat until you need it again! It's a sure thing!.
When my child was small, the first of these came into my house more than ten years ago. I bought a second one because I liked it so much. Because I had two-thirds of it, I had to fight people who wanted to take it away from me. HA NO! Purchase One for Yourself! I took one with me for a project, but I accidentally left it behind, and it vanished quickly. br>br>As a result, this was a replacement for one that had served me well for more than ten years- I only had to replace it because I misplaced it. br>br>Amazing product; my son used to carry it around the house when he was a kid.
As a result, I bought this stool for my son to use at the bathroom sink to wash his hands and brush his teeth. A family member had a stool like this that was extremely simple to open. br>br>When I first received this product, which I chose based on the high number of positive reviews and what I considered to be a reasonable price, I found it extremely difficult to open. This has vastly improved, so I believe it is simply a matter of loosening the plastic slightly. Also, because of the way the stool folds, it's difficult to open and close the stool from the top. This did not deter my son; in fact, he flips it upside down and pushes it open, locking the sides in place. Then he flips it over and ascends to the sink. br>br>As far as sturdiness goes, this thing is a beast. It can hold up to 200 pounds of weight. There wasn't even a squeak or a bend in the way. br>br>Also, the surface is fairly slip resistant while remaining barefoot friendly. br>br>Overall, I like this product because it is well-made, durable, and attractive. I'm going to keep it.
I've never found a better stool than these. These have a very solid and balanced feel to them, with no wobbling. You can get stepping stools for a lot less money, but the parts crack and they don't open or lock into place securely. This is one of those situations where paying a little more upfront will save you money in the long run. My first stepping-stone experience has occurred. For over 8 years, I've been getting my stool from this company, and it's been toxic. The neon colors of Gotham City the color purple neon- green. It's still as solid as the day I got it.
This is fantastic! br>Lightweight and simple to fold and carry, but extremely durable. I travel frequently, and climbing into buses, vans, and large SUVs is difficult for me due to arthritis. I just fold up this handy little stool and keep it in my carry-on bag for when I need to step up into something. It's sturdy enough that I don't feel threatened by it.
to my personal fitness center at home? These step stools help me get started with dumbbell floor chest presses. I also use it for split squats with one leg, dumbbell bent-over rows, and step-ups. I rest the dumbbell on the stool, get into position on my back, and roll the dumbbell off onto my wrists and elbows to begin the lift. br>br>I'm working with really heavy weight and on the floor doing chest presses, so it's nearly impossible to start yourself off without a self spotting rig (which is pricey and requires me to void my lease). br>br>These stools aren't being used for what they're supposed to be used for, and they're taking a beating. The stool is slammed with 90 lbs of weight when I drop the dumbbell. These things, on the other hand, are tough as nails and haven't a scratch on them. br>br>Another great feature is that they cup in the middle where the hinge is to cradle the weight, preventing the dumbbell from wobbling and rolling while still allowing me to roll it off the edge with ease. br>br>I only bought one stool because I was previously using a milk crate in addition to one I'd had for years (which was terrible because of the lip on the bottom of the crate). The stool I just ordered is about 125g heavier and a smidge thicker than the one I currently own, but it's almost identical in size except for the length. It appears to be B because it feels a lot more solid. R has upgraded the design to a more robust product. br>br>I'll put it through its paces before ordering a third step stool to match its new design. br>br>Awesome little stool with a tank-like construction. br>br>(I still use it to reach things from time to time, and it works well).
This step stool worked perfectly for my needs. It has a weight capacity of 300 pounds and stands 9 inches tall (as measured by me). I'm 160 pounds and feel safe standing on it. If I weighed 250 pounds, I don't think I'd feel safe. It's a breeze to open and shut. It's light in weight, and it's about the size of a deck of cards. When closed, it's about 2 inches thick. This item is for when I travel, and that's why I bought it. It's a tool that I'm using for aerobic exercise. br>I'll take it one step at a time. step-ups. up/step- When I'm not at home, I take down with me my other portable exercise equipment. Staying in shape is important to me, and I'm always looking for new ways to do so. When I'm not at home, I'll use this stool instead of my heavy steel platform.
