No, it's not genuine leather; the material is soft, durable, and has a nice appearance. It also doesn't seem to hold body heat as well as real leather. It's a good-looking chair for the money.

They're clearly from people who don't know how to put things together. I don't understand how anyone could be missing components. All of the components are packaged in a sealed bag. br>br>First and foremost, these chairs are of exceptional quality at an unbelievable price. I looked for the ideal chairs for my showroom for two weeks. These chairs were not only the most comfortable, but also the most affordable of all the chairs I looked at (online and in person). Guest chairs are not inexpensive, and I was on the verge of passing them up due to the numerous false negative reviews. Tips: br>br> Make use of two people (it'll be a lot easier). WARNING: THIS IS AN EXTREMELY IMPORTANT INFORMATION. When you get your chair, lay it out and dry fit it together. When you're ready to install the bolts, hand thread ALL of them into the chair. TIGHTEN BUT NOT TOO MUCH. Shift the chair around until everything lines up perfectly once all of the bolts have been hand threaded. Then, slowly tighten each bolt before rotating to the next one; DO NOT TIGHTEN ONE BOLT ALL THE WAY. Tighten one bolt a little at a time, then move on to the next bolt, and so on, until all of the bolts are snug. DO NOT TIGHTEN TOO MUCH. Securing the bolts is all that is required. If you overtighten the bolts, the metal will bend and the chair will no longer sit straight. br>br>I rarely write reviews, but I was so pleased with these chairs that I felt compelled to tell everyone about them. You will be completely satisfied with your purchase if you follow my instructions. Not to mention the fact that you have Amazon. com is a company that will always stand behind you in your purchases. Do not be hesitant. BUY THEM! I bought four and am very pleased with them.
