It can be opened from the back, which is how I have it set up. It is slightly less durable, but only marginally so. It appeals to me. br>

This was purchased for extra storage in the room of our 4-year-old twin boys. This is by far the easiest assembly I've ever seen. br>Sturdy enough for kids' stuff, with a wall mount (to prevent it from tipping over)br>5 stars for everything, and sooo cheap. br>I'm going to pick up a few more.
This cube unit was very simple to put together because I did it all by myself (I'm a 55-year-old woman with arthritis). This appears to be very sturdy and well-made for the price. I have heavy dies stored on the shelves in my craft room, so I'm using this. This unit comes highly recommended, and I plan to buy another for my craft room.
I like the size and style, but the visible screws on the top/long side are unattractive, and they simply give you white stickers to cover them up, which looks just as tacky.
These are some fantastic shelves. It's incredibly simple to put together and extremely durable. They even come with white stickers to hide the screw holes for a more polished appearance. Due to stains on the shelves, I docked a star. It was as if something in the factory had been spilled on them. It was disappointing that they were on two of the three shelves I purchased. They're hidden, thankfully, because I was able to swap them around so they're on the bottom, but that was only because I bought more than one. Apart from that, I am extremely pleased with these shelves, and I was able to achieve the desired look.
I bought two, but only one came with the necessary hardware to assemble it. Sigh. We now have to go to the store to look for pieces, which has made this a much more involved project. The other one, on the other hand, appears to be quite attractive.
I thought the price was fair, it was simple to put together, and it seemed to last longer than previous Closetmaid cube organizers.
It's sturdy and simple to put together. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that the back is held on with very small nails, and when I pushed a couple of items back into the shelf, the nails popped right out. It was probably my fault because I was attempting to push something back further than it could go, but it's still a little disappointing that the nails came out so easily. However, this is a good product that I would recommend:.
A cubical organizer with three cubes was required. This was the only one I could find that was in stock. I am dissatisfied with the quality for the price; I have a large four-cube cubical organizer that I purchased for $40 from Walmart and it is far superior to this garbage. This piece has a paper-like quality to it. There is no support for the thin backing, and the screw holes on the sides are extremely visible, making it unappealing to the eye. It also has open screw holes on the top, which I'm not sure what the point was. Those screws would interfere with the ones on the sides, so I'm not sure why they're there. The one I got from Walmart had a thick, high-quality backing, as well as caps to cover the screw holes so they were hidden. When Walmart's quality is better, you know it's a sad day. If you can find it at Walmart, that's where you should go. This isn't a good investment. It's not worth more than $20 in my opinion. It gets the job done, but it's not even close to being worth $35.
