This bookshelf is beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly simple to assemble! I was so taken with it that I used three of them to make a feature wall.

This product has the potential to be fantastic, but it has a number of significant flaws. 1. br>br> The box is filled with what appears to be a mixture of dust and fiberglass. I noticed it when I opened the box and didn't think much of it until my hands started hurting, so I moved the build outside and finished it with gloves, which looked like this after wiping one piece. My thumb is still swollen, and I had hives on my legs from the construction, so whatever it is has the potential to cause an allergic reaction. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br The final piece of the structure was twisted. It does not render the product unfit for human consumption. It is functional, but it is not attractive. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. The screw covers protrude from the shelf, and if a book is placed on top of them, the pages will fold or bend due to the design. br>br>I can't recommend this product to others in good conscience, and I believe the overwhelmingly positive reviews do not reflect my experience. If you have this product delivered, PLEASE BUILD OUTSIDE or return it if you notice dust or fibers inside. br>br>We will update based on vendor response!.

This bookshelf is absolutely amazing, and it's probably the easiest product I've ever put together. When I first saw it, I wondered if it was sturdy enough. Well, I'm here to say it's very sturdy and looks amazing. I love the geometry and the unique look it has, and I'm sure it'll elicit a lot of questions when people see it. Easy to assemble, extremely durable, and exactly as described. Stylish and affordable at this price!br>br>Please Note: We created the floating shelf effect by raising the shelving units off the ground with L brackets and wall anchors; this was not the shelves' intended purpose, and all hardware was purchased separately to do it. This is a floor shelving unit, according to the instructions. br>br>***months later, loaded down with nic-nacs, this shelf is still going strong. The shelves haven't moved a millimeter because of the knickknacks, pictures, and decorations!.

This bookcase had been in our possession for about a year. "Each rectangular can handle 33lbs," the specifications stated, implying that each shelf could handle 33lbs. As can be seen, it was a colossal failure. Worst of all, antiques from my travels, awards for my work, our sound bar, and our lamp were all damaged. and if I hadn't gotten out of bed to walk to work - Those awards, books, and antiques would have smacked me across the face - The shelf collapsed as a result of the angle. In the end, involving projectiles and head trauma - It was possible that I would have died as a result of this. br>br>I contacted the seller/manufacturer both through Amazon and on my own - Nobody has responded, and Amazon has thrown this product out because it was sold over a year ago. Amazon refuses to even provide me with a phone number for their legal department, which could help me with compensation. br>br>I understand this is a budget shelf - If these items were truly valuable to me, I would - Maybe I should have spent a little more money on a better shelf. You are most likely correct. But where do you draw the line between deceptive advertising and a buyer who is aware of the seller's claims vs. price of the product?br>br>At the end of the day - This shelf is something I wish I hadn't bought.
