I don't see why you couldn't store towels the same way you could books.
Yes, textbooks can be stored in it. So long as the books' weight does not exceed each shelf's carrying capacity: 10 kg (22 pound)
That depends on how they're stacked, I suppose. Because the shelves are 8 1/2" wide, you may be able to stack two of them next to each other.
I'm not sure, but I'd say China based on quality, design, and lack of consistency. Nothing was in sync, and the design was shockingly bad. I assembled it using their dreadful instructions and faulty hardware. They supplied sheet metal screws rather than wood screws. They also made it so that it could be screwed into a difficult-to-reach spot. What's more, it wasn't very sturdy. I returned it within an hour, which was the fastest I'd ever returned anything. I would not recommend purchasing this or even keeping it if you were given it. I was more concerned about it collapsing and injuring my mother, who was elderly.

When I first put it together, the product was crooked and slanted forward. I tried to ignore it, but after about a month, it all came crashing down and was irreparably damaged. While the design is attractive, I did not believe it was worth the money for the time I had it. I'm hoping the seller will replace the few boards that were broken when it fell over so I can reassemble it.
This can only hold about 10 pounds before it bends. Assembly holes are unsightly and cause the "wood" to warp. I attempted to return it, but Amazon is a jerk who has failed to live up to its name. It appears cute, but it's haphazard at best, and would be better suited for use as firewood, though the fumes would likely make you gag as well. Find a piece of real wood that can hold more than The Count of Monte Christi and a bookmark.
To begin with, I purchase a lot of things on Amazon and never return them. This bookshelf, on the other hand, is a complete disaster. This was purchased as a book storage unit for an elderly parent. It's so shaky that I'm afraid it'll fall on our parents. During assembly, the holes in the "wood" did not match up. The pre-drilled holes are either too large or won't seat properly, and most disturbing of all, the final piece that is supposed to stabilize the shelf makes no sense. It actually suggests screwing two "machine metal (not wood) screws into the corner of a veneer piece, which will never work. I consider myself a craftsman because I am very mechanical. The last two machine screws were clearly an afterthought, as they didn't even match the unit. This is, once again, built to fail from the start. I'm sure this unit has fallen down due to air movement from a ceiling fan, so supporting wires were added after the design was completed. I'm still perplexed that someone thought it was possible to screw metal screws into a 90-degree corner of veneer and expect it to hold.
It's a nice, unique design that's simple to put together. You'll want to keep a close eye on the shelves to make sure none of them are installed backwards. The brackets are on the front rather than the back of the two back boards that attach to the wall (the instruction manual shows them facing the wall, but the holes don't line up that way). You won't be able to see the brackets if you stack enough books on top of it, so do whatever you want with that. br>br>This shelf can hold a lot of books and is fairly stable. I made sure to secure it to the wall just to be safe—after all, I do have a cat.
as a result, it is useful I wanted to believe that the negative reviews of this shelf were exaggerated and that they only represented a small percentage of the overall population. Despite the fact that this shelf is so unique and stylish, it is completely useless. existent. Even though it comes with the hardware to secure it to a wall for added stability, this step is insufficient to compensate for the shelf's instability. The shelf's base wiggles in different directions and is clearly not flush with the ground. Although the shelves appear to be sturdy, when books are placed on them, the entire shelf jiggles. This shelf was as much a dream come true for me as it was for anyone else. It didn't serve any purpose. I'm going to return it most likely. However, taking it all apart is a pain.
A lovely bookshelf that draws attention to a secondhand book. be a drab spot! ALWAYS CHECK TO MAKE SURE THAT THE HOLES ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE! When putting the shelves together, make sure the other holes (for attaching the back piece) are facing the back. Before attaching the two boards for the back column, make sure the holes are aligned over the shelves. Every single screw was in perfect working order; However, I was only able to properly attach one of the two smaller screws connecting the base to the shelves. For the safety of the children, it must be secured to the wall.
a design flaw! I was so excited to get my hands on this bookshelf that I waited the entire month for it to arrive (just within the two-week delivery window they advertised). It went together fairly quickly - I made a few mistakes (for example, I rotated some pieces backwards), but they were simple to fix. When I was almost done with the assembly, I discovered that the bookshelf is designed to be bolted to the wall like a picture or a piece of art, and that moving the shelf by sliding is not possible; instead, you must remove all items and lift the shelf to move it. In the end, it isn't mobile at all, and it doesn't look "good" with only a few books on it (as shown). You lose some of the wood's natural beauty, which leads me to believe that it's more of an accent piece than a functional piece. If you look closely at my photo, you'll notice that my walls have a moulding lip that prevents me from flush-mounting the bookshelf. The assembly step for mounting the shelf to the wall is shown in one of the attached photos. I would not have purchased it if I had known it was a floor-standing shelf that could be attached to the wall.
It's a little wobbly, so I had to strategically weigh the books evenly from bottom to top to keep it from feeling too unstable. I, on the other hand, am a perfectionist who can't stand even the tiniest sway. Overall, I adore it, even if I am my harshest critic; It appeals to me. It's a one-of-a-kind piece that works in any setting.
