This rack is ideal because it keeps the vinyl upright and allows them to be slid out easily. I believe you can fit anywhere from 2 to 4 people between each tier. 4 records (depending on the thickness of the records). I purchased a used item at a reduced price, but I would gladly pay full price for a new one. I was worried because the box was battered when it arrived, but I was relieved to find that the rack itself was undamaged (I assume it's pretty sturdy). I'm very pleased with my purchase and plan to buy another to add to my growing collection.
This was purchased for my daughter to store her vinyl records in. It's ideal because there's plenty of room between the bars for double and even triple record sleeves to fit inside. It has a lot of heft to it.
Then, after I'd used it, he couldn't stop complimenting me on how nice the shelf was! Sturdy! Large enough to hold books and spiral notebooks with lined pages! Wow! Love it!.
This is a good product, but I believe it is overpriced for the value it provides. It was purchased specifically for my record collection, and it has a large capacity. It's reasonably durable, but not exceptional, so I'll give it three stars.
This is something that my son really enjoys. He was born in the wrong era, because he is a vinyl record collector. It's perfect, he said, and it fits perfectly on his bookcase.
This was purchased to be placed in a closet cubby. My cutting/pressing table is built around a maid's cubical. The specified dimension would have had to be hammered in with a rubber mallet, which is exactly what I wanted so that it could be sung and not move around. The width of the rack was a little narrower than described when it arrived, so I'll have to figure out how to secure it to the inside of the cubby. Aside from that, it was a perfect fit for my dies and provided a cost-effective storage solution!.
This item was a classy way to organize a few small items in my office. It was reasonably priced, well constructed, and stylish. I would strongly suggest it.
I'm using it to organize my records, and I'm surprised at how many I can fit on it. In comparison to other racks/crates, I think it looks very modern in my room. I believe I would still use this rack for other purposes if I found a new home for my records, so it is quite useful. It appeals to my tastes.
