"18 x 14" isn't it? 2 x 35. "Five inches?" As a result, the answer is 35. Not 26 5/8" but 5" in height. Well, that's what I'm seeing in terms of the product's specifications.
18" deep from front to back. 14 1/4" in width (side to side). With wheels, the height is 24 5/8ths" and with wheels, it is 26 5/8ths".
Metal. Plastic, on the other hand, is used for the wheels.
The cabinet is mostly put together; the handles and wheels need to be screwed on. The wheel screws were a tight fit, but I believe this is to prevent them from falling out. I had no trouble attaching the wheels or handles (and I'm not particularly handy with tools).

I bought two of them and made a desk out of one of them. They are efficient and effective in their work. I customized the base to meet my requirements. I adore the style!.
Despite the fact that this file cabinet is simple to assemble and move around, I cannot recommend it to anyone. Putting it together is a health and safety hazard! br>br>When I added the rear casters, I cut two of my fingers. I didn't even notice the sharp edges because they were so sharp. When I put on the first caster and went to get the second, I noticed red stuff on my fingers. When I washed my hands, I noticed that one of my fingers was cut and bleeding.
The thing is, it's an excellent first filing cabinet. For me, this was a step up from one of those plastic boxes you carry by the handle. It isn't spectacular, but it isn't bad either. It will definitely get the job done for me, and it will work until I am able to gather enough files for a large, luxurious filing cabinet, which I can't afford right now. br>br>Pros:

The bottom drawer was broken when it arrived; Instead of shipping it back, I'm going to put a few sheet metal screws in it, but man, this metal is flimsy and thin.
The metal is very inexpensive. Terrible. The metal is very inexpensive. Metal sheets' edges remain razor-sharp. My cabinet was also broken when it arrived. Because the metal sheet that serves as the drawer's bottom has been bent out of shape, the bottom drawer will not open. It's clear that the damage was not caused by a lapse in judgment. Regardless of the damage, whoever put this cabinet together had to kick the drawer in with force.
These file cabinets are adequate, but I would not purchase them again, even at this price, or perhaps even more so at this price; I purchased two so that I could have matching cabinets under a table in my office; not the wisest decision. Let me just say that if I could have found a higher-quality product online (or even at a local but smallish chain office supply) that I was confident in, I would have paid twice as much. br>br>The drawers only roll out half to 3/4 of the way and must be weighted in the back with something heavy or they will tip over (I used two large dictionary books). There's no way to keep folders in place if there isn't anything to hold them in place. There are no side sliders, nor are there any of those metal things that fit in the bottom and stand up like bookends. This means that if you want books or other objects to stand upright, they must be placed after the last folder. br>br>Both the handles and the casters are sold separately. The handles are simple to install, but be aware that the screws are actually screwed into the handle, so if you're looking for the pieces in the plastic packaging, you might think they've been overlooked. The front two casters are fairly simple to install, but the back two are a bit more difficult, and it's such a jumbled mess that I'm not sure how to describe it. The rollers work perfectly once they've been installed.
This file cabinet was delivered in a timely manner. I was pleasantly surprised, and it arrived in excellent condition. As a result, no shipping dents are possible. br>Like the cabinet I replaced, the construction is light. Only the beveled area on the front of the drawers is useful for added stability. Exactly what I was looking for for my home office. br>I was replacing a cabinet with broken plastic handles. It appealed to me because of the attractive metal handles. There aren't any brittle handles here to break. In contrast to the black cabinet I previously had, I prefer the grey. I didn't think I would until I had it installed and was satisfied with the results. I had no idea what color the screen would be because every screen is different. I never have to worry about precision now that I know this. br>The drawers glide open and close smoothly. As opposed to the previous one, this one is quite different. That jumped out at me right away, and I was ecstatic. br>Also, this is the first time I've ever had wheels. This is a great feature to have. They even supplied the materials for putting them on. For easy attachment, there are two plates for the back wheels. br>Now I have a taller and more attractive file cabinet, even if I may not need to move it very often. In comparison, I like how taller it is.
I'm a 66-year-old grandmother, and the reviews complaining about how difficult it is to attach the rollers make me wonder. I was able to attach them and the handles in under 15 minutes. Although the holes are smaller than the screws, the screws can be turned, resulting in a snug fit. I'm not sure how long the rollers will last; I'll probably only use it for cleaning purposes. They do, however, appear to be sufficiently strong in my opinion. I read somewhere that loading the bottom drawer first and from the back is the best way to do it. This took care of the tipping issue that had been raised by a few people. Yes, it's small and light, but I don't use it for anything important. I'd buy it again, and I'd tell others about it. Oh, and delivery was only 4 days, so it was a great file for the price.
