No, vinyl records are not compatible.
It only comes with a screwdriver, which I believe it does. If it isn't, it is simply a phillips head.
I only paid $22 for it, but it was well worth it! It's of good quality and has held up well over time. However, I would not pay $60 for it because you can get one for that price at Target or Walmart.
In my case, 11" was a good fit.

I bought these to help organize the bottom half of my pantry, and they're fantastic. Only the front sides are visible, but I'm not sure why I would have paid five times as much for some of the other brands when they didn't appear to be any better, and these little suckers are pretty sturdy and I expect them to last a long time.
I wasn't expecting great quality because this was the cheapest one I could find; it's particle board, but it's sturdy and of excellent quality. It took me about 15 minutes to put together. Spray painting is also a breeze. The back boards were spray painted, and I intend to paint designs on the sides, and the paint holds up well. It appeals to me. I had an issue with my original package not arriving, and 2K customer service was fantastic; they quickly dispatched a replacement, and I received it in a matter of days!.
This storage unit, as well as a larger one from a different manufacturer, were purchased by me. With this one, the directions and quality aren't as good. What I didn't like was that the screws were recessed in a round hole, which was great for hiding the screw head, but the only way to cover the hole was with a round sticker! To properly cover the screw heads, I used putty and then painted over it. The labels on the pieces were also a mess.

In terms of ease of assembly, one person can do it, but you'll need a lot of floor space and you must read the directions and look at the illustrations first. br>br>I love these cabinets and am glad I purchased both of them.
They're of good quality for the price ($30 each). I don't think they'll hold up to the kids jumping on them, but they're perfect for storing clothes in the closet; the white stickers for covering screws don't seem to work very well. They don't blend in well (they're just white paper stickers, not textured laminate) and are easily knocked off when something is moved on top of them. But, again, it's not an issue for us because we'll be using them in a closet where they won't be seen much. I could always go online and purchase better matching stickers for $5, so it's a simple fix.

Before assembling the side panels, sort the panels, screws, and dowels, and slide the thinner back panels in first. The fiberboard had two chips, and the screws and dowels were not in the plastic package, but were loose in the box, so it's possible this was returned. They were all present, which was a blessing. It was simple enough for me to put together on my own. It's made of fiberboard and is quite sturdy once put together. Only round white stickers are provided to cover the screws, which are recessed. I intend to keep it because I intend to use it as shelving within a closet rather than as furniture. For the purposes for which I intend to use it, I would purchase it again.
I am unable to comment on the item's assembly or durability because I was unable to put it together. I bought four of these to go under my pantry shelves. A few of the boxes were damaged when they arrived. The shelves were broken or damaged once the package was opened, even if the packaging was unharmed. When three of the four boxes were unusable, I didn't even try to open the final one. I was dissatisfied because the price and dimensions were exactly what I needed.
