It's around 24 degrees Celsius. With casters, it's 5 inches thick (on pile carpet). It was simple to follow the instructions. All of the pieces were clearly labeled and perfectly fit together. Although I've only had it for a few weeks, it appears to be quite durable. )br>I was assigned the letter L. I have a shaped desk as well, and I adore the workspace.
Mine is a legal filing cabinet. However, in order for the files I purchased to fit, I had to trim their edges. I assumed the files I purchased were not cut properly because the trim was less than an eighth of an inch.
Waterproof is not the same as water resistant.
The casters are required to open the bottom drawer and cannot be turned off. br>With the castors, mine is 25 inches tall.

This cabinet is made of laminate, but it is of excellent quality. It's put together with glued pegs and built-in clamps to keep everything together while the glue dries. There are a lot of parts to put together, as well as a lot of hardware. I spent about two hours on it, but the end result is a very sturdy unit. Because there is so much hardware, everything fits together perfectly and is square. I've never had a filing cabinet with that extra front wheel, but I promise you I'll never buy one without one. Because there was nothing bracing the drawer when it was fully extended, my old cabinet fell over four times while I moved files over. My only gripe is that no extra screws were included. Seriously, how much would it have cost to add one more screw for each of the three different screw types?.
Since then, it's held up beautifully and looks fantastic in my office!br>br>Ordered this filing cabinet and a matching desk. I don't use my office very often, but now that it's tax season, it'll be put to good use! Unfortunately, one of the folder file rack pieces had come through the front of the filing cabinet when I walked into my office the other day (see pictures). I'm not sure how this happened, especially since I haven't put anything in the filing cabinet's bottom section. My guess is that the front piece was a little flimsy, and the rack piece's pressure finally wore it down. There's nothing to be concerned about. I made the decision to contact the manufacturer and see if they could assist me. Please send a new front panel in its place. Unfortunately, I've already emailed them twice and have yet to receive a response. The filing cabinet is in poor condition. Even worse customer service, which is a shame because this filing cabinet was beautiful, just like everything else I own from this company.
It's a well-printed pattern that has been 3D printed to resemble reclaimed wood. It appears to be durable enough to last a long time. The dimensions are accurate, and the rollers perform admirably. It took some time and effort to put together, but if you take your time and follow the instructions to the letter, it will turn out beautifully. One suggestion: for standard letter size, use the inside metal rod holes.
It took 2 hours to put together. The sheer number of individual pieces is mind-boggling. There are 15 different particle board components, as well as 129 different fasteners (screws, cams, dowel pins, and so on). I would give it a higher rating for sturdiness, but the file folder guides are small diameter metal rods that bend if you put too many file folders in them.
A strong chemical odor pervades this three-drawer filing cabinet. My chest would start to hurt if I stayed in our office for more than an hour; at first, I thought it was just me, but my husband experienced the same symptoms after spending a few hours in our home office. Every time we stayed in the room, our chest would hurt, and the chemical smell was pretty overpowering. My husband had to throw it out after a few weeks because staying in the room was becoming dangerous. All of the chest pain vanished almost instantly (after we ventilated the room overnight, that is). I'm almost tempted to file a complaint to get our money back because the cabinet is clearly unhealthy. I would not recommend it in the least!.
In the end, I got a good result, but this product has a lot of flaws. The screws that hold the drawer slides in place are tiny, fine-threaded, and small in diameter, making them far more likely to strip out than to keep the drawer slides in place. In comparison, I recently constructed a similar product from the Sauder brand, and their slide fasteners are large, coarse-grained. Compared to threaded barrels. The instructions are a nightmare of ill-thought-out logistics - In the photo, Step 8 is actually a jumble of dozens of steps crammed together in an incoherent jumble (much like the rest of the "steps"). I had to go back and disassemble sections several times to make sure I didn't miss anything. Other brands are able to accomplish this by using higher-quality components and more detailed step-by-step instructions. This Monarch Specialties piece has fewer parts and has step-by-step instructions.
We thought we could handle putting this little guy together because the desk was challenging but manageable. We were so, so wrong. The instructions are incredibly difficult to follow, and the material is extremely thin. The damage seen in the photo was caused by the wooden dowel being pushed into the required hole. with the help of our thumb We went to the company's website and ordered replacement parts instead of returning the item to Amazon, as instructed by the company (in the enclosed materials). It's been nearly two months since we last saw each other. There is no contact email address, and I've tried calling the phone number but haven't received a response. I wish I had returned it within the return window because I now believe I will never receive my replacement pieces. 😢.
Excellent wood, long-lasting wheels, and a pleasing appearance. We have this piece next to a high-end desk and dining room, and it blends in perfectly. With roomy drawers, it can hold a full-size desk printer, such as a color Brother printer. While printing, the printer is very stable and does not move. It was simple and easy to put together. This piece has left me speechless and ecstatic.
