I can't think of anything else positive to say about this file cabinet, other than the pleasant appearance. As the file folder rods are not totally stationary, the folders fall off the rods when they are off of them. Rather than using it as a chest, I decided to use it as a set of drawers instead. This is incorrect. In the bottom of the drawer, there are nooks made of 1/8 inch plywood that slide into the notches. Among the books at the bottom are a few novels. This caused it to fall I had the same problem with both During the process of taking out the bottom drawer to fix it, the inner slide that the drawer rides on when it is pulled out broke off from the outer slide that screws to the wall of the unit, and all of the tiny ball bearings fell out. Based on the reviews, I decided to purchase this unit because I liked its look and it appears to be I was surprised to find that the unit has a very sturdy frame. Despite this, sturdiness alone should not be considered critical to the success of any product. My recommendation would be to look somewhere else if you need a nice durable file cabinet that will hold your documents really well. I have only had trouble with this unit.
