This was ordered as an insert for my office file cabinet in August. I could not open the box because we were overwhelmed with work at the time. Today I tried to put the insert into the cabinet, but the bars are much longer than I wanted. It was 36" wide, and I ordered it that way. A total length of 40" is measured on the bars. I do not know how these are supposed to be used, and it is too late now to claim There is a great deal of disappointment in me.

really like my Hon file cabinet, but the lateral bars are missing. I have them now and am back to being organized. I got them quickly and at a great price.

Neither will they break nor do they fit

I would buy again because it is nice and sturdy. provided with the cabinet are not as nice as the ones that came with it. I don't think the edges have been rounded over as well, so they're a little sharper than I like, and they don't have rubberized paint on them. It may also be necessary to wipe the bars when you get them clean of excess machine oil.

Compared to Hon, these are not as good

As compared to the actual HON file bar, the product is much thicker and sharper. However, I find the HON file bars to be more durable since my hanging folders slide better on them. As a result of my personal preferences, I decided to return the product.
