I had intended to use these to store art supplies in my art studio, but they are so lovely that I decided to use them in my bedroom instead!! It's simple to assemble them; They come with a cute little screwdriver as well as all of the materials needed to put them together. The instructions are clear and concise. br>This took me 30 minutes to put together: 5 minutes for unboxing and sorting materials (including recycling and plastic) 24 minutes for construction I built this while making dinner, so I only had 1 minute to put the vegetables in the oven and check on them. I actually used them to tilt it back slightly towards the basement's cinder block wall. Obviously, if you have children, you will hang this on the wall. br>3)it takes some time to put together, taking me 30 minutes on my own, but it's very sturdybr>br>What could be betterbr>1)the shelves aren't real wood, so I'm not sure I'd want this in my living room, but it'll suffice in my basement. However, the fake wood shelves were well packaged and were not scratched or damaged in any way, but they are clearly not real woodbr>2)they include a small phillips head screwdriver, as shown in the second photo. I struggled with this and eventually grabbed a longer phillips head screwdriver, which made it a lot easier for me, so it was a quick fix. br>br> It's sturdy and functional, and it's just what I needed to finish off my space.

This is a good-looking, well-built bookcase. br>I'm a petite woman, so it took me less than an hour to put it together (it could've gone faster, but my 9-year-old daughter was in the way). year- The old son and the dog were attempting to assist). The instructions are simple to follow, and all of the parts are labeled. The box was a little battered when it arrived, but the interior packaging was in good shape and well packed! It had a nice styrofoam layer that fit snugly inside the box and prevented the pieces from moving around. It was simple to assemble, and it came with all of the necessary tools (including a screwdriver). Because my floors are over 20 years old and not perfectly leveled in some areas, the leveling feet are a nice addition. It's fairly stable once it's been leveled. There was only one flaw that I noticed, and it was primarily cosmetic. There is a slight misalignment where the top and bottom supports meet, but it is only visible up close (see photos). This, however, does not appear to have an impact on the bookshelf's structural integrity. Aside from that, I'm pleased with my purchase thus far. I've only had it for a few days, so after a few months of use, I'll update my review.

You have complete control over the placement of each shelf. (The unit's 5 shelves can be placed in 9 different places, each 6 inches apart. ) ) Right now, I'm only using three of the five shelves, but the unit is holding up well. I'll be able to move a shelf or add more shelves later without having to disassemble the entire unit; each shelf is extremely sturdy, and I have no reason to doubt the 70-pound shelf weight limit. Furthermore, customer service was outstanding! The shelving unit has adjustable feet, which came in handy because my floor isn't perfectly level. I rigged one of the feet because it had a problem while I emailed the service department. I received an immediate apology, and the replacement hardware was delivered within 48 hours; I was blown away by the prompt and courteous service.

When I saw this, I knew I had to have it! I think it's fantastic; however, I had a minor snafu during assembly, so my advice to you is to double-check that all of the cross-stitch holes are properly drilled. The unit arrived quickly (in a MASSIVE box containing the actual product box, which was a little strange and cumbersome to haul up my apartment stairwell), and assembly was fairly simple. br>The kit comes with a small screwdriver, which is a nice touch, though it can get a little achey on the hands after a while (no dowels here, everything is held together by screws), but if you aren't impatient like me, you should be br>My only major criticism of this unit is the appearance of the shelves themselves; they're laminated particle board, and while I wasn't expecting real wood shelves at this price point, the pattern on them is clearly screen printed (the furniture I bought before this had some semblance of texture to the laminate to imitate real wood, these are flat). br>Again, the unit is likely to be one of the cheapest I'll find, and it looks pretty sharp if you don't look too closely, especially with all my books on it, so despite its flaws, I'm pretty happy with it.
