I took my measurements near the welded base of the dividers. I took measurements in a few different places and came up with the following results: 1- Over 1 inch, some were over 3/16" or up to 3/8" in diameter, and some were over 3/16" or even 3/8" in diameter. inch. It's well-made and doesn't require any assembly. So far, I've pleaded with the product. br>br>To the person who claimed theirs broke after three weeks, I don't believe this product is designed to support the weight of a Chromebook or multiple Chromebooks. This product is excellent for storing files, records, and light weight books, as other reviewers have stated.

Don't buy it because it's so cheap

After three weeks of use, the device broke. This was an awful product. The metal was brittle and unsuitable. sturdy. I charged student chromebooks in my classroom using the desktop storage folder. I asked Amazon to refund my money. Amazon has yet to respond to my request.

These were a huge success. Only holds nine, according to the manufacturer. However, the slots are large enough to hold two records. I was able to fit 18 records into each stand, which was very sturdy. Love them.

These are the best; they're small and have a small footprint, but they help clean up a cluttered desk and make everything easier to find, such as binders, manila folders, single sheets, note books, and so on, rather than digging through a pile!
