There are some that don't work If you turn the bottle upside down, it will only moisten the sponge on the top when you fill it with water. Sadly, it appears to be an all or nothing proposition. As soon as you turn the bottle upside down, either there is no moisture or there is so much moisture on top that the entire envelope ends up wet. A decent product, but not the best.

You can fill it with water and seal it. Due to radiation on my throat, this is an important step for me to seal letters and correspondence You've got bills.

This would be a great solution if you send out a lot of letters. It's not at all messy. DO NOT apply a lot of pressure to the sponge once it is wet.

This is a good sponge because it is easy to refill and easy to use.
