Questions & Answers

You can lift this moist sponge in the air and it will still be semi-rigid if it is adhered to paper What is the purpose of the sponge attachment?

So far, I have used it only to moisten envelope flaps and haven't encountered any issues of that nature. Even if it did stick to regular paper, I don't think that would be the case.

Is this made in the United States?

Below is a barcode I don't know if it will be helpful. I am in the process of converting 42491 97802 to In my mind, I am thinking of

Do you have a lid for it?

Unlike many other containers, it is not lidded.

Could you tell me what this is?

There is a description on Amazon that says exactly this An eye shadow stick that uses a wedge sponge as a moistener. Water is filled from a regular tap. For holidays, instead of licking the envelope, I seal Christmas cards using it.

Dear Sir or Madam, it is good to see you
5/5

Having seen the Seinfeld episode which involved licking envelopes, I've been unwilling to lick envelopes ever since. Although I know it's silly, there are too many things out there that want to kill us every single day Why put yourself in the line of fire? I looked in all of the local stores for this specific type of moistener, but all I could find was that annoying far-off-brand. It's too much- In a large-scale A solution that soaks the desk and envelope when applied with a sponged bottle of moistener. It works better and does not leave a mess to clean up with these pen-style tools. The priming process is just as annoying as priming, but I'll cope. Because let's be honest - what I really got it for is - There are a lot of people who buy self-defense My Everlast notebook by RocketBook and my SmartNote by NewYes were my lickable stamps and secure envelopes, and I think the Post Office does not even sell lickable stamps any longer. Water can be used to erase these re-usable notebooks. As I slashed the pen across the book, I sprayed some water on it- You can wipe it away with a cloth after using a water-based moistener. Make sure the page is clean. As of now, my plan is working, and I am pleased with my purchase of the moistener Also, while RocketBook wins for its app, SmartNote wins for its "paper" that is much easier to use. My review of both is complete Whether you are curious about these notebooks or not, you are welcome to take a look. Since I don't really need to scan the pages for personal use, I use SmartNote for personal use, while RocketBook is used for business, since I need the OCR capability and the ability to scan for my I'm going to come back to the moistener now. It is definitely a quality and value package for the price. I can also carry them with my pen holder, which is impossible with a bottle style moistener My computer sits awkwardly on my desk and takes up space. When I go to retrieve something, I often drop the computer. While it does take a little while to prime the sponge, this can be sped up by compressing it, soaking it in water (e. g. When a running faucet is needed), let go of the sponge and let the water soak in. It wears out faster than the standard method as the sponge has to be primed more often, so I prefer the alternate method to prime. If a piece of a regular ol' kitchen sponge could be cut off and glued in place of the old sponge, then I'm confident that it would work, but I haven't had the chance to check this theory yet. This is all- My overall impression is that I am pleased with my purchase, as I expected.

A timeline for 2020 and beyond Being safe is the best policy
4/5

Postal service is still the method I use to mail things. 2020 gives us a clear picture of the current state of affairs. Putting spit on envelopes and putting them in the mail to be handled is not a good idea. In the end, I ordered one of these moisturizer sponges from Amazon. In light of the price, it is a good buy. My drinking glass normally remains empty till I need it and I usually only fill it with a few tablespoons of water before I use it. I have found that it is working so far. I'm going to apply a little water to activate the glue to seal the The product I purchased is satisfactory to me.

I'm not a fan of the drippy parts, but overall I enjoy One piece of advice? do not wet the envelope while it is stacked with It is sometimes possible for there to be an excess of water that dripped into the bottom of the envelopes, causing them to become sticky by the time I got to them (seems Once I realized my errors, I put together a pretty good system, and now I don't have that nasty taste in my mouth any more

To save myself from having to lick envelopes, I got this
4/5

This is what I got so I wouldn't have to lick envelopes, as noted in the title. In fact, there are a lot fewer instances of envelope licking than I imagined. Having the opportunity to lick more would be useful if I needed to do so more often. I consider it a small waste, since the money I spent was only a dollar. Even though the manufacture and shipping of this product creates a waste of resources. Basically, my point is that you should ask yourself if this is something you really need in your life. It is not a necessity for me. But we all have to die eventually,.

Christmas cards are sealed beautifully with this product! When I was a kid, I used to see the administrative staff use something like this to send out large amounts In the past, we kept a towel damp and used it for They appeared to be a good deal and, while we have not used them yet, they seem like they should work just fine

I recommend them for mailings of large amounts, such as invitations to parties and Christmas cards.

My one complaint is that the quality is only fair
3/5

I needed to seal Christmas cards and thought that this would be quicker than applying tape. It used too much water once the water was wiped off and used sparingly so water dripped out the side. After dabbing most of the water off, the sponge still left a ripple effect in the back as well as smearing the previously addressed envelope upon stacking. It would be better to choose another product, or you might want to be careful not to use too much water, and also save space by not stacking your envelopes very high if you're sealing a large quantity.

Drips tend to form
3/5

Implementing a good idea is the goal of this product The glue needs to be moistened Instead of putting the stripe on envelopes with your tongue, use your hand. Keeping the sponge moist is challenging as it is difficult to control the amount of water released from it. Water may drip out of the tip like a tip (and sometimes even drips may come out of the water - The tube itself is filled). Since I have an issue with the mess the machine tends to create and the envelopes tend to come out damp, I use it at the sink It takes a while for them to dry under a stack of books before being mailed. As a result, I cannot say that the product has been much of a success for me, but I persist in trying.
