Selected User Reviews For Martin Yale Premier AquaPad Envelope Moistener, Black (PRELM3), Gray

My needs are not met by this solution
3/5

It is really against my sense of ethics to give negative reviews, but I just can't recommend this product. Being an office worker who sends a great deal of mail on a daily basis, I was disappointed in this product. I have used similar products similar to this in the past, and they didn't work. have to keep pulling the sponge back up in order to make contact with the envelope because the sponge slides down in the holder. The user interface does not seem to be very Perhaps my use of the application is causing the issue. Can't figure it out. A different product will be sought.

It saves a lot of time
5/5

Also, I'm having a good time with my tongue! Choosing not to lick all the envelopes before mailing 650 holiday cards, I opted for one of these gadgets instead of taking the time to lick all those envelopes individually I hate it! In order to use this, you need to adjust the sponge piece inside the unit in such a way as to ensure good contact between the envelope flap and sponge when it is being run through the unit. It can't apply enough moisture to the flap and thus will not seal properly if it is too low. The sponge worked perfectly without requiring me to refill for the entire mailing after I adjusted it. In fact, my nephew who is almost 14 years old had no trouble using it, which allowed me to finish the mailing faster than I ever thought possible!.

Nothing stays put when it leaks
3/5

This leaks, and you can get better results if you just remove the top and use the sponge instead. The bottom of the envelope doesn't have a grip to ensure that it doesn't move around as it is being drawn through.

A seal for work that was bought and used for sealing letters
5/5

For work, these seals were purchased and used as a seal. Only thing I would have changed was to make it a bit heavier so that it could not easily be knocked over, for example I did it quite a few times.

This tool is not appropriate for the task
3/5

There's just no way to do it. As well as the base being too light and the sponge not sufficiently adhering to the damp sponge, the envelope flaps are not properly seated against it. You don't get the value back for the purchase price, even though it's not all that expensive.

My opinion is that I do not A secretary was not able to use it when it came to the office
3/5

As an engineer and as old as I am, is this really that hard? There are several things that make using it difficult Waters down the envelopes and makes them sloppy. Back in the day there was one with a ceramic roller which functioned We'll keep an eye out for you- For that one, you'll be able to find it online and at antique stores.

This would make a great addition to any office
5/5

There is no need to lick stamps or envelopes anymore as this device works very well. You simply fill the unit with water and wait about 2 minutes for it to work. One was ordered as a testing device, and now we are ordering 10 more in my office.

I would not recommend it
3/5

It is cheap and light enough so that you can move it around the table with no issues. This was not worth it, I had to buy a $2 water bottle with a sponge on top and it worked just as well.
